Hello! My current headset (Razer Kraken X) has been dying for quite some time now, so I would like to upgrade. My main usecase is gaming (osu!, valorant, etc.), but I do listen to music often.
I've done a bit of research and hear good things about the DT 990 Pro. I'd also like to pair the DT 990 Pro with an amp, the FiiO-E10K. My budget is around $240 usd (headset + amp), but I am willing to go a bit over, if there's a better one that would be worth the money.

My ex of 4 years (27) and I (22) broke up a couple weeks ago. I’ve been heartbroken ever since. Crying myself to sleep every night and hardly eating.
It all started when I grabbed his phone to send myself a picture that he had taken earlier. He was sleeping but the phone was positioned under the pillow so it woke him up. He woke up and got mad and went to snatch the phone back. In the process he hurt me and naturally I punched him (I know I need to keep my hands to myself). It is important to note that him and I have a past of domestic violence with him being the one to have initiated the violence majority of the time. Last year we had a breaking point and cried together and worked together to change our past. This had been effective up until a couple weeks ago.
That night he broke up with me and told me that he wasn’t in love with me anymore and that he wasn’t attracted to me and was “just waiting for a good time to tell me but that there hadn’t been a good time.” I cried and asked him to communicate further and let me know when he fell out of love with me and give me closure. He looked me in my eyes and said “you forget I’m a narcissist” we argued a little bit back and forth but ended up going to bed together. He had work at 4am and I had work at 2pm.
The next day I went through his phone and saw text of him messaging a girl on Instagram. At that point I was sick to my stomach. He told me it was just a coworker who had a crush on him and that it was nothing. I went in the room and began packing my things preparing to leave him. He came in and asked me to talk and we went in the living room and talked. He told me that lately he feels like I’ve been putting him down and that it made him slowly lose feelings for me. I asked him for examples and he told me that he feels like I make his accomplishments small. I’ve always been really proud of him but I did have my fears bc he’s one to quit a job out of no where and stick me with the bills so I kinda would push him when he talked about pursuing his sneaker head business because I didn’t want to be stuck paying bills by myself. We talked about everything and cried together and then went into the bedroom and made love. The next morning we woke up together and ate breakfast and laughed together. That night when I got home from work he was sleeping in the guest bedroom. I was confused because him and I talked about getting back together and working on our relationship (I have text that prove this) now he’s saying I misunderstood what he was saying but I literally have screenshot proof. After our passionate night together he changed his mind and wanted to stay single. I cried every night for a week and literally begged him to get back together.
About a week later I saw messages of him and the coworker talking about how he took her virginity in the backseat of the car that I put the down payment on. I went absolutely crazy (story for another post) did I mess up a good thing by putting my partner down ?
I don’t like to throw what I did for others in their face but this is the nature of our relationship: when we first began dating he was battling depression, a drug addiction, and he was broke and couldn’t afford rent. He had no car. I literally helped him change his whole world around. He says I’m not the same person and am negative but I feel like with everything he put me through he took my light and I don’t know how to get get it back without him 🥺

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME So i am playing through Skyrim for the first time (playing on Nintendo Switch) and i currently finished the Battle for a solitude supposedly however i ran into a problem. When i fast traveled to solitude to meet up with ulfric stormcloak i was instead confronted by a guard saying i had a bounty and needed to pay it so i did that and was in the process of trying to find my stolen items when at the same time the game was continuing with the story line, and the doors to the castle or whatever were being locked and i believe ulfric (sorry for not remembering who and what was going on i’m new to the game) was talking to someone and then executed them and i couldn’t leave so i waited there and watched. the story continued they killed the person and then there was a big speech where they even mentioned me (the dragon born) for all my amazing service whatever lol…. and whatever else happened it’s been a while i can’t remember but anyway the quest ended it even says it’s completed in my list of quests HOWEVER now, solitude doesn’t show up on the map at all, when i do go there it’s still acting like it’s mid battle, still up in flames, ulfric stormcloak and several stormcloak soldiers are outside preparing to fight i suppose and they just stand there i can’t interact with them, I can’t enter solitude at all it just pops up a thing that says “you must help the soldiers defend the city before you can enter” and im not sure how to do that or why it’s still saying all this when i completed the battle for solitude SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ITS DOING THIS AND I CANT GO ON WITH THE GAME WITHOUT ACCESS TO SOLITUDE 😭😭😭

I studied for the test for about a month!! I passed with a score of 693 and I will say it was a little harder than I expected but the key is to understand how everything works together as an ecosystem and read the questions CAREFULLY.

Professor Messers videos and note (MAIN): used his notes, added to them and watched his videos all at the same time.
Jason Dion’s practice tests: Take at least one or two before watching his videos.

Hello everyone! Before I got the copper IUD I always read so many horror stories online about terrible experiences but I didn’t have a very terrible experience and would like to share. I was on the fence for almost a year and have never taken any form of hormonal birth control except for 2 plan B’s in the last three years. I’m 22 F and have never given birth and I’m also very petite (4’ 3’’) and was terrified paragard would not fit my uterus (BUT IT DID!!).
After doing some research I was able to find a place that offers IV sedation to help with pain and extreme anxiety as well which was Planned Parenthood in Tucson Arizona. I was extremely anxious and shaking and thinking if I even made the right choice to do this. When they called me to be seen now they took vitals, weight, and asked me questions as well and felt very safe and comfortable the staff was very friendly and gentle. The nurse put the needle and the IV tube in my arm and let me relax in a big comfy chair as she was preparing the room. Once I went to the room she put in a dose of anti anxiety medication which was Valium to relax. The doctor came in and was very gentle and explained how the process would go. Once it was time to open up my legs the nurse but in a dose of fentanyl to help with pain and more calming medication to help. I was not asleep and was fully conscious I did feel pain but was very bearable the only painful part was the measuring and dilating of the cervix but was bearable it felt like a very sharp period cramp pain you get when you’re bleeding super heavily. The insertion slightly hurt but not as bad as the measuring was at all and everything was done in less then 3 minutes. I did feel very dizzy after and my blood pressure did go extremely down due to my body tensing up and the sedation but was quickly given salt water in the IV and it helped immensely. Everything lasted less then 30 minutes.
It’s been a few hours now and have been experiencing cramping like a bad period day type cramping but have been taking ibuprofen (600mg) and heating pads and has been working :> im happy with the decision I made because I do not want any hormones in my body. I’m happy to answer any questions if anyone has any!

I've recovered from most of my health issues (I'm about 80% back to where I was before I got sick), but nerve/muscle problems in the left side of my face, neck, upper inner thigh, and genitals persist. Does this sound like I had SS? Or something else?
I want to stress I'm not looking for medical advice on what to do further. This occurred in late 2020 and just want opinions on if people who have also taken Lexapro can give input on if they think I had serotonin syndrome or not. I was never diagnosed so I do not know. I've had a lot of medical testing done in the past 3 years that has not gotten me any closer to a known cause.
Long story that I wrote more in detail here, but the gist of it is, I suddenly was not able to get a 30mg dosage refill of Lexapro that I used for OCD/Anxiety reasons in June 2020. I researched things that could help with withdrawal, and people recommended 5-HTP as a good supplement. I took it for about a month or so, maybe a month and a half. I didn't notice anything different when taking it, so I eventually stopped taking it. I probably stopped taking it in late July 2020 or possibly at most, late August 2020.
I went back on 10mg Lexapro in late September 2020, and about 3 weeks into that, suddenly had horrible and now chronic health problems such as brain fog, extreme fatigue, body weakness, nerve sensitivity issues/tingling and burning, muscle pain, neck stiffness, chest pain, memory loss, sinus inflammation, and blunted emotions and libido.
I did not take 5-HTP at the same time as the Lexapro, I am 99.9% sure of it, and only took it as a temporary replacement. I quit 30mg Lexapro just before going on 5-HTP, and I didn't feel sick at all when doing that.
I am no longer on Lexapro, and I have seen some improvement with my issues. My health problems only began once I re-tried Lexapro. I had been around medical professionals and at an ER for anxiety reasons, so it is possible that I caught a virus like COVID, which I've seen cause many of the symptoms I have. I believe the 5-HTP I got at the time was an over the counter 200mg supplement that you can get at CVS, this one to be exact. I took it once a day. When that ran out. I took a 100mg supplement for about half a month and then stopped.
I didn't feel sick at all when taking the 5-HTP, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the cause of my health problems, but maybe people here would know better? I linked the detailed version of my story above, because repeating it here would be too lengthy. I explain all the medical testing I have had done since this started. Around 95% of my blood work and testing has been normal. The only abnormal results have been low Vitamin D, low iron, and high CRP/ESR results.
I don't think it was serotonin syndrome, as nothing like that happened when I took the 5-HTP. Serotonin syndrome is usually acute, and this was more of a slow onset of problems. I was very anxious in 2020, but I was anxious before taking the 5-HTP. I read that 200mg of 5-HTP isn't very much, and that it doesn't stay in somebody's system for long, so I feel like maybe it being the cause of my very acute health problems doesn't seem likely.I did read that 5-HTP crosses the blood-brain barrier, so I don't know what this would mean in terms of what happened to me.
Do my symptoms seem like common serotonin syndrome issues? The body warmness, stiffness, etc, does, but the sinus inflammation doesn't, and I've never read of nerve issues from serotonin syndrome.
I remember in late 2021 I had a very weird sharp pain where when I touched the right side of my penis, the top of the left side would hurt. It went away, but I still have nerve issues in the left side of the head of my penis.
The nerve issues are mainly in the left side of my face, neck, chest, genitals, and seldom in my left foot, in the sole area. My neck feels painful and stiff a lot on the left side, I would get quick, almost zap-like chest pains on both sides of my chest a few months ago, but now it's only on the left side, my face on the left side will sometimes feel tingly, burning, or weak, or numb, my genitals only hurt in the left testicle and on the left side of my penis when I move it a certain way. The right side of my leg feels weak at times too. My left foot would have a burning feeling sometimes)

Our hobby has been around for over a century. The Wireless Institute of Australia, or WIA, is the oldest amateur association on the globe, having just marked 113 years since formation. The American Radio Relay League, or ARRL, is four years younger, founded in 1914.
I'm mentioning these two associations because they documented their journey through many of the years since foundation. The ARRL has published QST magazine since 1915 and the WIA has published Amateur Radio Magazine since 1933.
Before the Internet and the Digital Library of Amateur Radio and Communications, magazines like QST and AR Magazine were some ways of documenting and archiving achievements across our community.
If you find my professional biography online, you'll read: Experienced polyglot IT professional, software developer, trouble shooter, researcher, public speaker, educator, writer and publisher, founder and small business owner, podcaster, and licensed radio amateur.
It's fair to say that I've done a great many things across the technology arena. I have been writing software since before I was a teenager. At the time we used words like freeware and shareware, we copied lines of BASIC from the pages of the latest computer magazine, or recorded the TV teletext signal to access a programme. I recall typing pages of hexadecimal codes and running the result. Very satisfying to make sprites running across your screen.
In the decades since, technology has moved on. I've had a front-row seat to see that evolution happen. I've also witnessed one of the victims of the 1980's computer craze, the fundamental obliteration of its history. Much has been lost, either physically by destruction or disposal of boxes of magazines or the deterioration of audio cassette tapes once used to store software. I hold a Guinness World Record of Endurance Computing, set in 1989 during the Hobby Computer Club days, but you'll not find it anywhere other than a copy of the Dutch World Records that might be somewhere in my garage, or not. The twice-daily magazine we published over the three days of the event, Elephant News, was lost to time.
I'm mentioning this because this loss is not limited to the 1980's, it's happening here, today. As our hobby evolves into the software realm, we need to consider just how that legacy continues beyond our own lifetime. For example, we have lost access to the fundamentals of how exactly HAM DRM works, we've lost the source for VK Contest Logger to name another, and the collected designs by so-called antenna guru L.B. Cebik W4RNL (SK) are scattered around the Internet, but as far as I know, none of it is complete.
Fortunately we have tools at our disposal to keep our history. As I mentioned, the Digital Library of Amateur Radio and Communications or DLARC is an Internet Archive project to catalogue and store current and historic amateur media. In the 30 weeks since starting in October 2022, it now has 75,000 items and continues to grow under the expert stewardship of Program Manager, Special Collections, Kay, K6KJN.
The DLARC is not the only tool at our disposal and documentation isn't the only way we share technology in our hobby. More and more of what we do is based around software. We use programs to process signals, to generate and receive different modes, to create logs, to model antennas, to log propagation, and that list grows daily.
One of the most significant changes in software since my childhood is that of the introduction of Open Source Software in 1998. I've spoken about this several times before and I recently pointed at Not1MM as an example of an Open Source contest logger, but that is not the only project available.
If you visit GitHub.com and search for "amateur radio", you'll discover over a thousand projects showing a healthy ecosystem of activity from people like Daniel EA4GPZ who shared gr-satellites, a collection of telemetry decoders that support many different amateur satellites.
You'll find APRSdroid by Georg D01GL, which allows radio amateurs to view and report locations using the APRS network.
There's an Arduino based rotator interface by Anthony K3NG, an advanced ham radio logger called CQRLOG by Petr OK2CQR, a radio modem by Dan KF7IJB, remoteAudio by Tobias DH1TW, and the list goes on.
I must also point out that I'm only naming the person behind the repository because as is the whole point of Open Source software, anyone can contribute in different ways. You can make a copy of the source-code and write your own version, a so-called fork, or you can create trouble-tickets to explain a bug or problem, there's ways of contributing fixes and ideas and all of that can be done by anyone anywhere. Many of the projects I've just shared are a combination of years of effort by many different people.
And that is the point of this conversation. Amateur Radio is a collaborative affair. We learn and share from the experience of others. We document how we built a schematic, or an antenna, or managed to achieve some feat and share that with the rest of the community.
It's not limited to hobbyist projects either. I purchased my Analog Devices ADALM-Pluto SDR hardware specifically because it was Open Source and came with all manner of tools and code that I could tease apart, improve on and change to my own requirements.
As we make more and more use of technology in our hobby, we run the risk of repeating the mistakes of the 1980's if we don't start making our efforts public and accessible to the community at large.
Imagine what our hobby would look like if we stopped sharing our successes and failures.
So, next time you want to look at some software to use, a calculator to build, or a thing you've learnt, consider what a technology appropriate way to share that might be.

One of the most significant changes in software since my childhood is that of the introduction of Open Source Software in 1998. I've spoken about this several times before and I recently pointed at Not1MM as an example of an Open Source contest logger, but that is not the only project available.
If you visit GitHub.com and search for "amateur radio", you'll discover over a thousand projects showing a healthy ecosystem of activity from people like Daniel EA4GPZ who shared gr-satellites, a collection of telemetry decoders that support many different amateur satellites.
You'll find APRSdroid by Georg D01GL, which allows radio amateurs to view and report locations using the APRS network.
There's an Arduino based rotator interface by Anthony K3NG, an advanced ham radio logger called CQRLOG by Petr OK2CQR, a radio modem by Dan KF7IJB, remoteAudio by Tobias DH1TW, and the list goes on.
I must also point out that I'm only naming the person behind the repository because as is the whole point of Open Source software, anyone can contribute in different ways. You can make a copy of the source-code and write your own version, a so-called fork, or you can create trouble-tickets to explain a bug or problem, there's ways of contributing fixes and ideas and all of that can be done by anyone anywhere. Many of the projects I've just shared are a combination of years of effort by many different people.
And that is the point of this conversation. Amateur Radio is a collaborative affair. We learn and share from the experience of others. We document how we built a schematic, or an antenna, or managed to achieve some feat and share that with the rest of the community.
It's not limited to hobbyist projects either. I purchased my Analog Devices ADALM-Pluto SDR hardware specifically because it was Open Source and came with all manner of tools and code that I could tease apart, improve on and change to my own requirements.
As we make more and more use of technology in our hobby, we run the risk of repeating the mistakes of the 1980's if we don't start making our efforts public and accessible to the community at large.
Imagine what our hobby would look like if we stopped sharing our successes and failures.
So, next time you want to look at some software to use, a calculator to build, or a thing you've learnt, consider what a technology appropriate way to share that might be.

I'm mentioning these two associations because they documented their journey through many of the years since foundation. The ARRL has published QST magazine since 1915 and the WIA has published Amateur Radio Magazine since 1933.
Before the Internet and the Digital Library of Amateur Radio and Communications, magazines like QST and AR Magazine were some ways of documenting and archiving achievements across our community.
If you find my professional biography online, you'll read: Experienced polyglot IT professional, software developer, trouble shooter, researcher, public speaker, educator, writer and publisher, founder and small business owner, podcaster, and licensed radio amateur.
It's fair to say that I've done a great many things across the technology arena. I have been writing software since before I was a teenager. At the time we used words like freeware and shareware, we copied lines of BASIC from the pages of the latest computer magazine, or recorded the TV teletext signal to access a programme. I recall typing pages of hexadecimal codes and running the result. Very satisfying to make sprites running across your screen.
In the decades since, technology has moved on. I've had a front-row seat to see that evolution happen. I've also witnessed one of the victims of the 1980's computer craze, the fundamental obliteration of its history. Much has been lost, either physically by destruction or disposal of boxes of magazines or the deterioration of audio cassette tapes once used to store software. I hold a Guinness World Record of Endurance Computing, set in 1989 during the Hobby Computer Club days, but you'll not find it anywhere other than a copy of the Dutch World Records that might be somewhere in my garage, or not. The twice-daily magazine we published over the three days of the event, Elephant News, was lost to time.
I'm mentioning this because this loss is not limited to the 1980's, it's happening here, today. As our hobby evolves into the software realm, we need to consider just how that legacy continues beyond our own lifetime. For example, we have lost access to the fundamentals of how exactly HAM DRM works, we've lost the source for VK Contest Logger to name another, and the collected designs by so-called antenna guru L.B. Cebik W4RNL (SK) are scattered around the Internet, but as far as I know, none of it is complete.
Fortunately we have tools at our disposal to keep our history. As I mentioned, the Digital Library of Amateur Radio and Communications or DLARC is an Internet Archive project to catalogue and store current and historic amateur media. In the 30 weeks since starting in October 2022, it now has 75,000 items and continues to grow under the expert stewardship of Program Manager, Special Collections, Kay, K6KJN.
The DLARC is not the only tool at our disposal and documentation isn't the only way we share technology in our hobby. More and more of what we do is based around software. We use programs to process signals, to generate and receive different modes, to create logs, to model antennas, to log propagation, and that list grows daily.

I'm new to the system and don't own any of the books. Thus I've had to google everything while playing. I'm used to DnD where the GM gives you a target number to hit. So we've been asking or gm for the difficulty of our combat rolls. "A red, a purple, and three black." Is a typical reply or "Three purple and a black".
We rarely hit anything and multiple of us drop multiple times in combat. The GM has stated that he feels the combat should be deadly (it is combat after all). I'm used to being the hero of the story and feeling like a bad ass but I've also played old school dnd so I can adjust if I need to.
As I have become more familiar with the system I just get more and more confused by the rules.
Dice pool
When I enter into combat I roll my combat skill "ranged light" (YGGG) plus the [difficulty set by the range chart - medium] (PP) plus the targets defense dice (KKK) plus any environmental and/or misc black dice (0), so a total of YGGGPPKKK?
The other day we fought a Hydra and the difficulty was RRK, I asked if he had to pay destiny to get the red dice and he said no. As I understand it, it should have been pk since the hydra is two steps larger than me and I'm at medium range and the gm didn't spend a destiny?
I get that if enter melee we have to account for that player by adding a purple dice. And I know the gm can make the dice anything they want, but from a baseline by the rules standpoint, what's happening here?
Minion groups
The GM told me to familiarize myself with minion groups in order to help with our combat, but that also confused me as they seem to all attack individually and attack multiple targets. Shouldn't these be treated as a single character in terms of their attack and when we attack them? Do they use a single health pool and all die at once or do some of them die every few wounds?
Recovery
After the battle we get our normal recovery, which usually recovers one of the strain and then our jedi makes the rounds stimpacking everyone and failing healing rolls (average of 7 total wounds and a few strain).
Between sessions the gm usually gives us a generous heal (Crits, Wounds and Strain) and then we go back into the fray mostly healed.
As I understand it we get only one medical skill critical healing check a week, one daily crit resilience check via the bacta tank, and the after encounter check doesn't heal wounds only strain? Also these crits stay on us until we pass those checks right? with each additional one becoming worse to get (+10 each)?
Skills
I have only a few skills with yellow dice, can I still use the ones with just green? Is there a penalty like unskilled penalties in other games? For example I have four INT do I just get to do medical checks with four green dice, or do I have to put at least one yellow into it to make the check?

The gm has allowed me to respec my character now that I'm more familiar with the system, but my new character, which I'm excited to play, has the almost the same stats and abilities as far as combat is concerned.
I've searched reddit and half the people are saying its too brutal and the other half are saying its too easy so I have no midline to gauge off of.

I've recovered from most of my chronic health issues, but nerve/muscle problems in the left side of my face, neck, upper inner thigh, and genitals persist to some degree. Does this sound like I had serotonin syndrome? Or something else?
Long story that I wrote more in detail here, but the gist of it is, I suddenly was not able to get a 30mg dosage refill of Lexapro that I used for OCD/Anxiety reasons in June 2020. I researched things that could help with withdrawal, and people recommended 5-HTP as a good supplement. I took it for about a month or so, maybe a month and a half. I didn't notice anything different when taking it, so I eventually stopped taking it. I probably stopped taking it in late July 2020 or possibly at most, late August 2020.
I went back on 10mg Lexapro in late September 2020, and about 3 weeks into that, suddenly had horrible and now chronic health problems such as brain fog, extreme fatigue, body weakness, nerve sensitivity issues/tingling and burning, muscle pain, neck stiffness, chest pain, memory loss, sinus inflammation, and blunted emotions and libido.
I did not take 5-HTP at the same time as the Lexapro, I am 99.9% sure of it, and only took it as a temporary replacement. I quit 30mg Lexapro just before going on 5-HTP, and I didn't feel sick at all when doing that.
I am no longer on Lexapro, and I have seen some improvement with my issues. My health problems only began once I re-tried Lexapro. I had been around medical professionals and at an ER for anxiety reasons, so it is possible that I caught a virus like COVID, which I've seen cause many of the symptoms I have.I believe the 5-HTP I got at the time was an over the counter 200mg supplement that you can get at CVS, this one to be exact. I took it once a day. When that ran out. I took a 100mg supplement for about half a month and then stopped.
I didn't feel sick at all when taking the 5-HTP, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the cause of my health problems, but maybe people here would know better? I linked the detailed version of my story above, because repeating it here would be too lengthy. I explain all the medical testing I have had done since this started. Around 95% of my blood work and testing has been normal. The only abnormal results have been low Vitamin D, low iron, and high CRP/ESR results.
I don't think it was serotonin syndrome, as nothing like that happened when I took the 5-HTP. Serotonin syndrome is usually acute, and this was more of a slow onset of problems. I was very anxious in 2020, but I was anxious before taking the 5-HTP.
I read that 200mg of 5-HTP isn't very much, and that it doesn't stay in somebody's system for long, so I feel like maybe it being the cause of my very acute health problems doesn't seem likely.I did read that 5-HTP crosses the blood-brain barrier, so I don't know what this would mean in terms of what happened to me.
Do my symptoms seem like common serotonin syndrome issues? The body warmness, stiffness, etc, does, but the sinus inflammation doesn't, and I've never read of nerve issues from serotonin syndrome.
I remember in late 2021 I had a very weird sharp pain where when I touched the right side of my penis, the top of the left side would hurt. It went away, but I still have nerve issues in the left side of the head of my penis.
The nerve issues are mainly in the left side of my face, neck, chest, genitals, and seldom in my left foot, in the sole area. My neck feels painful and stiff a lot on the left side, I would get quick, almost zap-like chest pains on both sides of my chest a few months ago, but now it's only on the left side, my face on the left side will sometimes feel tingly, burning, or weak, or numb, my genitals only hurt in the left testicle and on the left side of my penis when I move it a certain way. The right side of my leg feels weak at times too. My left foot would have a burning feeling sometimes)
