I just moved into an apartment a few weeks ago and I came home from a 5 hour work shift today and found at least 15 spiders outside my window. I had never seen them here before today. I would just go outside with some spray but I live on the 8th floor so I can’t rly do that. This is my first time living in an apartment so I’m not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any brands of spider repellant that works well or tips/tricks to get rid of them?
Also if this matters, I live in chicago and was able to id them as gray cross spiders.

I really enjoyed my weeknd doing nothing. Now i gotta do everything and i hate it. Fml for having overbooked my schedule to go do things i dont really wanna do. Today in particular i gotta pay all the bills, finish cleaning then add things to the shopping list. Then theres meetings, new friends to see and clubs(not drinking clubs but activity ones) to attend and then the weeknd. I just like laying in bed and day dreaming about getting a house so i can garden 24/7 and eat delicious garden food.

where do i even start?
a few months ago, i put my friends who didn’t know each other into a group where we could all hang out. and for awhile, it was the most fun i’d ever had. i loved my friends with all my heart and i’ve known most of them for years. we’ve laughed together, cried together, traveled together, journeyed through middle to high school to college together.
then, i got a new job. my hours are crazy. i knew going into it i wouldn’t be able to see them as much and that’s okay although it might have been a tough adjustment. but i started to notice that even when i didn’t have work, they were all still doing things without me. nobody asked me to hang out, nobody asked me what i was up to. at first it didn’t bother me. then, it really started to bother me.
it all came to a tipping point when there was a concert that came by. i didn’t want to go as i didn’t know any of the bands, but i invited them all out to a bar with my boyfriend and i after. they said they all had work the next day and couldn’t go out. alright, that sucks, but that’s fine i’ll just hang out with my boyfriend still. concert ends and i check their location…. they’re at the fucking SAME BAR i invited them to without me!!!
we didn’t talk for a week. i was so angry. how could they do that? what the fuck? eventually i caved and texted them and said it felt like they did that on purpose and it really hurt my feelings.
somehow it became my fault and they forced me into an apology that i didn’t feel like i needed to give, but i did it anyway because i valued my friends more than i did being right. they promised me they’d make more effort to include me in stuff and although i was skeptical i agreed.
a month later, they have a bonfire and invite random people that i’ve never met. guess who didn’t get an invite? i asked them to explain what was going on and all i got told was “they’d try to be better”. yea right. you said that last time and nothing changed. i told them i was reconsidering being their friends because how are you going to just leave me out of stuff like that? one of these people is supposed to be my best friend. we even have matching tattoos. i got no real answer. so i said fuck it, we’re done. i’m done begging to be included. especially considering if it wasn’t for me, this group wouldn’t exist at all.
at first i was so angry that that’s all i could feel. i moved into my first apartment in april and i had to go through that major life transition without literally any of my friends. it hurt so much. i got a bit depressed and unmotivated. but i knew i could do this as long as i had my boyfriend.
he promised to marry me one day. he used to write me poems, bring me gifts when i’m feeling down, hold me as i cry, we did everything together. he really was the first boy id ever dated where i never had to doubt how he felt about me. he was perfect and i love him so much. i did EVERYTHING i could to make sure he felt as loved as i did. there’s nobody i ever wanted a better life for than him.
friday night it’s 10 pm and i had just woken up (working night shift). he rings my doorbell. he tells me we need to talk. this is so incredibly sudden and up until friday, i NEVER thought anything was weird with him. he told me he wasn’t going to break up with me, but that he had something to say. the silence while i waited felt like it lasted an eternity. i couldn’t help it - i started crying and couldn’t stop. he finally tells me he feels like our relationship is more platonic than romantic. i couldn’t be more confused… where did this come from? i know i’ve been a little depressed lately, but it’s not like i ever stopped loving him. when i asked what he needed that i wasn’t giving him, he couldn’t tell me. he didn’t know. i asked if he was staying with me out of pity for me or because he actually wanted me there. he said he didn’t know. i told him to get out of my apartment, but for some reason when he got to the door i asked him to stop.
i don’t know why i did. i guess i figured if he walked out that would be that. but i didn’t actually have anything to say other than continuing to cry. i fell to the floor and punched it out of frustration… why is this happening? what happened to the man who wanted me for life? he sat on the floor while i did this and watched, saying nothing. eventually i came over and he told me that he felt like i needed him, not wanted him. what the fuck does that even mean? i have always been independent. i pay for this apartment by myself. eventually he broke down crying, was holding me as we both cried and he apologized for making me upset and that he doesn’t want to lose me and he wants nothing more than to grow old with me. we cry it out and everything is fine… we make dinner, watch a movie, go to bed. i asked twice if we were fine now. both times he said yes.
saturday morning after waking up he leaves to go run errands. i took a nap on the couch. i woke up to a text of him breaking up with me.
i am so heart broken. i freaked out and begged my old friends to just be there for me and we can figure out our differences later… and they said no. my time of need and my best friends of decades and they said no.
i can’t stop crying. i’m crying at work, i’m crying at my parents, i SOB when i’m at home. i miss him so much but i hate him more than anything for lying straight to my face that we were okay. why would he do this to me? what happened to marrying me? being there for me forever? what happened? when is it my turn to stop being given lessons? now i have no one. my best friends. gone. the love of my life. gone. i have nothing left. i am devastated.

Now i dont know if this is a possible thing im still new to Windows Server, but assuming it is
We get lots of password reset requests from our users and i've seen that senior system admins have said this is not a priority it can be attended to in 4 hours they are not in a hurry
but to me it's just a few clicks and the user is back on their workstation in no time it doesn't take time
So i've been thinking why not give users the ability to reset their own domain passwords just like google, facebook etc allows us? it should spare us time to work on other things and gets the user back to production in little time

How my arrangement works

- PC (i don't have access to consoles)
- No unneeded dialogue, many new and old games like to dump on you an unnecessary amount of boring information, and even useless dialogue, I'd like to avoid those kind of games if possible (Probably reaching for straws here since most Japanese media I've consumed is overly talkative and annoying, with a few great exceptions such as the old Zelda games)
- Little or no time wasting mechanics, such as: results screen after battles (unnecessary and annoying), teleportation to battle arenas when starting encounters (in case of action JRPGs), random encounters (really don't like those)

There are charms in the game right now for use in the forge. When we are forging a piece of gear we can add rank and rarity charms, type charms for boots/wep, etc, and substat charms.
What if they added charms for shards? We could boost our chances of getting a higher rarity champion by adding a rarity charm. We could boost our chances of getting a certain faction with a faction charm and then they might add affinity charms (for ancient and sacred) and type charms (defense, support, attack and HP champs etc) For example, 2 champions that would take my account to the next level are Teodor or Demytha
If I am targeting Teodor from ancients or Sacreds. I add a Rank charm, a Knights Revenant charm, a Spirit charm, and a Support charm to boost my chances of getting an Epic or Legendary, Knights Revnant spirit support champion.
If I am targetting Demytha from Void Shards I can add a rank charm, a dwarfs faction charm, and a support charm.
Because Raid's primary objective is to milk our wallets, we know that implementing something like this can't provide too much of a targeted chance increase, because then we would buy fewer shards overall. I still think that giving the player the option to pick when, where, and how they approach targeted summoning gives the player a level of agency and control that feels rewarding.
Raid current system of Targeted summons is to have 10x chance to summon events. They will have an x10 chance on 'Posioners' or an x10 chance on Defensive champs with several champions on offer. But you might not have shards or you might be a F2P player who is saving their horde of shards for the next fusion event or summon rush event/tournament. Also, these x10 events are a scam anyway I saw a video on the math.
They could sell these charms in packs and have them as rewards from new game modes they already have planned to add to the game, maybe throw them into the daily log-in rewards and daily free thingy from the shop like gear charms.
Does it add too much bloat to the game? Would something like this appeal to you over random x10 summon events?

Hi Im on Anniversary of Skyrim,I am using the mod Alternate Start Perspective, well I have Alternate Start Live Another Live,The the New Beginnings,and This one,When I have all 3 Turned on,Everything works fine,Except one thing,When They ask the cat to go to the Block,He doesn't and it doesn't Freeze up either, and I even tried this mod by itself and it Freezes up and crashes, I tried Everything, So What Do I do?I have not tried it with the Special Edition of Skyrim. I Love this mod for Helgen.And What Load Order should I put it in,I have all 3: Alternate Start Live Another Life,Alternate Start New Beginnings,and Last I have Alternate Start Perspective,which ones do I turn off or delete,I have all 3 mods in the middle of my Load order, Do they go at the very bottom of my Load order.?

- (Windows) The Windows installer version of Sunshine is now always launched by the Sunshine Service. Manually launching Sunshine.exe from Program Files is no longer supported. This was necessary to address security issues caused by non-admin users having access to Sunshine's config data. If you have set up Task Scheduler or other mechanisms to launch Sunshine automatically, remove those from your system before updating.
- (Windows) The Start Menu shortcut has been redesigned for use with the Sunshine Service. It now launches Sunshine in the background (if not already running) and opens the Web UI, avoiding the persistent Command Prompt window present in prior versions. The Start Menu shortcut is now the recommended method for opening the Web UI and launching Sunshine.
- (Network/UPnP) If the Moonlight Internet Hosting Tool is installed alongside Sunshine, you must remove it or upgrade to v5.6 or later to prevent conflicts with Sunshine's UPnP support. As a reminder, the Moonlight Internet Hosting Tool is not required to stream over the Internet with Sunshine. Instead, simply enable UPnP in the Sunshine Web UI.
- (Windows) If Steam is installed, the Steam Streaming Speakers driver will be automatically installed when starting a stream for the first time. This behavior can be disabled in the Audio/Video tab of the Web UI. This Steam driver enables support for surround sound and muting host audio without requiring any manual configuration.
- (Input) The Back Button Timeout option has been renamed to Guide Button Emulation Timeout and has been disabled by default to ensure long presses on the Back button work by default. The previous behavior can be restored by setting the Guide Button Emulation Timeout to 2000.
- (Windows) The service name of SunshineSvc has been changed to SunshineService to address a false positive in MalwareBytes. If you have any scripts or other logic on your system that is using the service name, you will need to update that for the new name.
- (Windows) To support new installer features, install-service.bat no longer sets the service to auto-start by default. Users executing install-service.bat manually on the Sunshine portable build must also execute autostart-service.bat to start Sunshine on boot. However, installing the service manually like this is not recommended. Instead, use the Sunshine installer which handles service installation and configuration automatically.
- (Linux/Fedora) Fedora 36 builds are removed due to upstream end of support
- (Windows) Added an option to launch apps and prep/undo commands as administrator
- (InstalleWindows) Added an option to choose whether Sunshine launches on boot. If not configured to launch on boot, use the Start Menu shortcut to start Sunshine when desired.
- (Input/Windows) Added option to send VK codes instead of scancodes for compatibility with iOS/Android devices using non-English keyboard layouts
- (UI) The Apply/Restart option is now available in the Web UI for all platforms
- (Systray) Added a Restart option to the system tray context menu
- (Video/Windows) Added host latency data to video frames. This requires future updates to Moonlight to display in the on-screen overlay.
- (Audio) Added support for matching Audio Sink and Virtual Sink values on device names
- (Client) Added friendly error messages for clients when streaming fails to start
- (Video/Windows) Added warning log messages when Windows is hiding DRM-protected content from display capture
- (Interop/Windows) Added warning log messages when GeForce Experience is currently using the same ports as Sunshine
- (Linux/Fedora) Fedora 38 builds are now available
- (Video) Encoder selection now happens at each stream start for more reliable GPU detection
- (Video/Windows) The host display now stays on while clients are actively streaming
- (Audio) Streaming will no longer fail if audio capture is unavailable
- (Audio/Windows) Sunshine will automatically switch back to the Virtual Sink if the default audio device is changed while streaming
- (Audio) Changes to the host audio playback option will now take effect when resuming a session from Moonlight
- (Audio/Windows) Sunshine will switch to a different default audio device if Steam Streaming Speakers are the default when Sunshine starts. This handles cases where Sunshine terminates unexpectedly without restoring the default audio device.
- (Apps) The Connection Terminated dialog will no longer appear in Moonlight when the app on the host exits normally
- (Systray/Windows) Quitting Sunshine via the system tray will now stop the Sunshine Service rather than leaving it running and allowing it to restart Sunshine
- (UI) The 100.64.0.0/10 CGN IP address range is now treated as a LAN address range
- (Video) Removed a workaround for some versions of Moonlight prior to mid-2022
- (UI) The PIN field is now cleared after successfully pairing
- (UI) User names are now treated as case-insensitive
- (Linux) Changed udev rule to automatically grant access to virtual input devices
- (UI) Several item descriptions were adjusted to reflect newer configuration recommendations
- (UI) Placeholder text opacity has been reduced to improve contrast with non-placeholder text
- (Video/Windows) Minor capture performance improvements
- (Video) VRAM usage while streaming is significantly reduced, particularly with higher display resolutions and HDR

What I mean by beginner-friendly is that it is easy for people who have not watched a lot of anime to watch and enjoy. I will provide my experience to see if other people had the same experience or know of someone who also enjoyed the show despite being new to the show.
I remember I started watching this series on a whim. I watched it with my sister, but did not start on episode one. Instead, I watched along with her since she was also watching it for the first time. I therefore started somewhere around episode 14 of season 1.
Anyway, needless to say that I enjoyed the show, otherwise I would not be here on this subreddit, but I still wonder if other people who barely started watching anime would also enjoy this show. After all, I am quite weird. This show has a ton of references to other anime and manga and Japanese media and culture in general.

I started a brand new Chess YT channel recently which has been a lot of fun. I already have a guitar channel that has over 13k subs, so starting from scratch in a completely different niche has been very instructional for me. Around 20 subs in, I hit a video that did quite well and pick up a couple of thousand views (not a short). Got my up to 48 subs. Without warning, I went from 300/400 views a day, to 100 views a day. The change happened almost instantly on my hourly count and gave me ptsd of the early days in my guitar channel.
The amount of times I've seen people on this sub-reddit freak out in such a situation, and desperately reach out to see what's "wrong". "Maybe it's a glitch in the algorithm", "I'm gonna email Youtube support to tell them there's a mistake". It's not a mistake, it's youtube's algorithm working. It worked in your favour, now it's working in someone else's favor.
In order to have what it takes making youtube content, you have to be somewhat philosophical. If something works, that great. But when things turn against you, you simply have to accept it, and move on to the next video. In most cases it's worth doing a bit of critical self-analysis to see if the video you created could have been better (thumbnail etc) - even if it was successful by your standards.
IMO the worst possible thing you can do, is blame the algorithm when things don't go your way. This is a childish and ultimately unfruitful exercise that won't provide you with any answers or a path forward.
Stop complaining, start creating! frustrations and complaints often mark the beginning of the end and usually signify 2 things: 1) You're just chasing views and 2) You're not actually enjoying yourself.
Chasing views in of itself, may not be inherently bad, bud not having fun making content that you're supposed to be passionate about, that is really the worst possible outcome as a Youtuber.
I'm writing this kind of a reminder to myself, because I've been there before. Super hungry for views, but missing the real point of creating content: to share something you love with others.
