This is so long I’m sorry lol.
TL:DR: my primary may be having their friend/roommate/ex work with them, after this ex was incredibly passive aggressive and disrespectful to our relationship. They didn’t talk to me first and I overheard while I was visiting them at work. Now I’ve been triggered for the last day because I haven’t been able to talk to my partner about it, and I’m looking for advice on what boundaries to set.
I’m (NB 23) so crushed and disappointed in my partner (NB 25) right now. I found out via overhearing a conversation yesterday when I was visiting my partner at work that their ex/roommate (she/her 29) may be picking up a shift there.
I hesitate to even call this person an ex because she was never supposed to be in a full blown relationship with my partner in the first place, that’s just where she tried to take things and my partner wasn’t down. Long story short, she started imposing romantic relationship expectations on my partner, and then retaliated against me and my partner when she wasn’t getting what she wanted, making me feel very uncomfortable and emotionally unsafe in their shared home. Now we have to get her permission for me to stay the night in my partners home. She’s also overstepped into our relationship tremendously when the two of them started having casual sex through to when they stopped (slamming doors because of us kissing in the living room, completely cold shouldering me without ever communicating expectations of a parallel dynamic, entering my quality time with my partner if we were spending our time together in the common space and speaking only to them, interrupting my partner and I’s time together to request goodnight time, and kissing them after they stopped having sex even though my partner was clear about not being romantically interested). She’s wildly passive aggressive, and has only now started trying to be nice to me after she’s been finally having her needs met elsewhere, instead of imposing her needs on my partner when they weren’t my partners responsibility in the first place. I am very distrustful of her and am not interested in occupying space with her, as she has made it clear that she doesn’t consider the impact of her actions on other people. And on top of that, she absolutely leeches all of my energy. I wouldn’t be affiliated with her whatsoever if it weren’t for her being my partners friend, roommate, and now ex.
Now I come to find out while I’m trying to be sweet in visiting my partner that apparently she’s likely to be working with them now. And it was just casual conversation between them and the boss about what her schedule and pay would look like. I feel so fucking blindsided. I haven’t had a chance to talk to my partner about it because we have a rule for no poly conversations over text while the other is at work. They have no idea that I heard or that I’m as intensely upset as I am.
While I’m moderately upset that they could potentially be more enmeshed on top of living together, I’m completely crushed that it didn’t cross their mind to consider mentioning this to me first. I know I don’t know all of the context, but I’ve been triggered for 24 hours and it’s so hard not to spiral. Even if they intended to tell me, I’m upset that this conversation with me about her occupying where they spend the second most amount of their time is being treated as retroactive. And they’ve told me I’m their priority so many times. We’ve nearly broken up several times because of the miscommunications when it comes to their relationship with her, going all the way back to how the start of their relationship was fundamentally miscommunicated to me (they were vague, leading me to think that they were going to be cuddle buddies until they came back to me telling me they had sex). Not to mention the poor judgment in trying to have a casual relationship with a roommate. So given everything that we’ve had to work through on this, I feel like it should be common sense that I would want to be considered in this change, or that this would affect me. Is that too much to ask?
I’m dreading having this confrontation with my partner but it needs to happen. I’m trying to take it as an opportunity to set very clear boundaries about their ex but I’m feeling stuck in the sense of how are my boundaries ever supposed to anticipate something like this? I don’t understand why they’d be interested in working with someone who makes them uncomfortable at home!! They’ve literally told me they’re unsettled just by aspects of her personality. I don’t fucking get it.
Bottom line, a friend suggested that I set a boundary around communication about her such as “I’d like to be considered and informed if you’re going to involve her in your life in ways other than a roommate”. I honestly feel traumatized by this like if I miss a boundary they’re just going to hurt me again. I’m so tired of going through these motions with her and I think my partner should know better by now. It’s been about a year of this.
I would love advice on more ideas for boundaries. I’m struggling to know what’s too much to ask and what isn’t too much to ask. All I know is that I don’t want to occupy space with her unless I choose to and that I’m upset about her potentially rooting herself deeper into my partners life. And I’m upset with my partner for not thinking to mention this to me before going forward with it at work.

2023.06.10 02:30 helpmah Breach of contract, do we have to pay for the previous month despite damages, or can we send them a bill and deduct?
So here's the shortened version with what I hope are all the relevant details. My wife runs an equestrian business and partnered with a property owner nearby to us. The place was convenient to us in location and they did not have a trainer, mutually beneficial (or so we thought). Here's the legal set up, the boarding facility portion was ran by X, her mom, Y however is the actual property owner, owning the physical buildings, land, and all that. X wanted to be involved despite the fact that they know next to nothing about running a business or horses or really anything at all. This being said there was no physical contract written up, but there are many, many financial transaction records and long chains of text messages and agreements between the two. My wife started bringing in serious money to the place with her lesson program which ended up in more boarders coming in. Seeing the influx of money Y started paying for improvements to property to help the business along and even invested in a few horses. The arrangement ended up being that X will handle the boarding the facility to include doing chores and hiring out labor as necessary, my wife would split her revenue (not profit, revenue) 50/50 as payment for the boarding of the horses used for lessons, with additional payment for the horses that were owned by the barn. This partnership goes well until X goes off the rails and basically looses her mind and starts lying about my wife and her business partner to Y, a back and forth ensues and Y no longer trusts her daughter. Y then cuts X out of the business altogether to partner with my wife and her partner. Out of no where, Y goes back to believing Xs lies for whatever reason and tells my wife that she has 24 hours to move all horses and equipment off the property and puts up a gate, locks it and has a person posted at the entrance as security. Despite the fact that this "eviction" is illegal and a complete breach of contract my wife and her partner move all animals and equipment that they own off the property for the welfare of the animals. Throughout this partnership my wife and partner were trying to help out as much as possible and we're filling in for the care of the animals because X couldn't be trusted to do it right, we were also forced, on many occasions to come handle basic chores because X would randomly say that she can't do it and didn't schedule anyone. My wife also spent many, many hours training one of the barn owned horses with the assumption that her training the horse is improving it for use in her lesson program and to be used in shows, greatly improving the horses skills and abilities. So here's where we're at: my wife had communicated with X and Y that she was going to be running summer camps and had provided estimates of the additional income that would be brought in for June, July, and August. They knew that the camps were going to be happening and were preparing for them, they knew that my wife had collected over 7k in deposits. So when my wife was forced off the property I told her not to pay a dime of the May rent because the contract was breached. Again, while there was no formally written contract there are texts and emails of this information and a sort of informal contract and agreement was set in place. They are, of course, demanding payment for May. Due to the breach of contract, loss of money and actual damages: paying back the deposits after materials and items for the camps were already purchased in addition to obvious loss of income from her regular lesson program and the camp, is there any legal grounds for Y to actually come after her? The partnership was with X, who had an established LLC on the property, the contributions that Y made were essentially for the benefit of Xs business, but X is...to put it lightly, a spoiled and lazy person who's never had to actually work at all in her life. Our current retort is to send them a bill for the refund of the camp deposits (about double the lesson revenue), and include training costs for the horse and costs for us having to go to the property to work to do Xs work when she wouldn't. I do realize that we could have legally told her to pound sand and continue business as usual until an eviction notice came in, but with the welfare of the animals on the line and them adding physical barriers to the property it seemed way more important to remove the horses and put equipment. We don't have money for a lawyer, but they are filthy rich and obviously do. We are basically just going to cut our (massive) losses and move on with life, however, they are threatening legal action. We aren't going to pay, not this early in the game because we know that getting that money back will be basically impossible, but do we have standing to refuse to pay them because they breached the contract and agreement?

2023.06.10 01:58 Burningstar123 Server timing out when entering vault
As the title says, im hosting a vault hunters server for my friends (4 of us total). The server works great when playing normally, however we have yet to do our first vault due to the server timing out as we enter. Here is the last bit of the latest log, if needed i can post the full log as well. A few seconds after the "Can't keep up!" People stop moving and destroying blocks no longer does anything.

 | I am a 24 year old female. I am overwhelmed. I feel like I will never truly smile..I haven’t in years now. When I was 19 I worked graveyards at a gas station. I found that energy drinks really helped keep my awake while adjusting to my new schedule. I usually hate the taste of almost every energy drink I’ve ever tried…except Grape NOS which tastes like grape soda to me. I am not exaggerating when say I would drink literally 4-6 of them… sometimes more, just about every single day. I kept drinking them up until a year ago. I was also constantly dehydrated then. I knew I was never drinking enough water but soon it became common for my mouth to be excruciatingly dry almost 24/7. At the time I didn’t know that a dry mouth is inherently detrimental and leads to tooth decay… A little less than a year ago, I had three bottom teeth extracted after a failed root canal and extensive decay on both of the teeth on either side. I am concerned about bone loss because I haven’t had anything replace extractions. I’m wondering what my options are from here. My dentist wants root canals on most of my bottom teeth because they aren’t salvageable. Wouldn’t it be better to just have them extracted and go the route of implants? Because he believes it’s fairly likely that some or all of teeth needing RCT may still fail. I appreciate any advice! |

 | Hi everyone I took my dat yesterday and got an academic average of 24 with using only bootcamp. BOOTCAMP IS THE WAY TO GO!! AA: 24 TS: 23 PAT: 21 Bio: 21 Genchem: 23 Ochem: 26 Reading:21 QR: 27 submitted by Martinamoses to predental [link] [comments] When I studied I used Ari’s 5 month study schedule starting in January and took the test the first week of June. I studied on top of a full semester so sometimes it seemed like a lot. But the best word of advice is to stay on schedule but also take breaks when needed, working out and hanging out with friends helps a lot! I tried to stick to the schedule exactly, but with classes I sometimes had to move stuff around on the schedule. As long as you get it all done ESPECIALLY THE PRACTICE TESTS, you’ll be good When I felt ready I personally did not feel ready until 2 weeks before my test. You get to the point where u know you have done all u could and now it’s time for your hard work to pay off. What worked best for me and getting a high score is when reviewing my practice tests, go through every question and write what I got wrong, asking with explanations of the other answers. Any question I was unsure of but got right I would also write down notes on that. Color coding on my iPad my notes pretty and made me want to study then loll. Bio My first practice test of bio I was so scared because it felt so hard, I scored a 17. I only used anki a little (more towards my test). I made sure to answer all the question banks, bio bites, and review my bio notes from all the practice tests (the week of my test). Repetition is key with bio and it will all start connecting. The week before my test I also made a list of subjects I was weak one when reviewing the tests, then went back and watched those videos and wrote done any notes to help me remover the info! The real DAT was definitely not as intense, and there was even some repeat questions!! Genchem I’m a chemistry girl so I didn’t spend much extra time on this subject besides completing everything I had to. Dr. Mike was a great teacher and repeats things so they’ll automatically get in your head. Reviewing tagged questions was the best study tool in this section for me. The real DAT seemed very similar to all the practice problems. Ochem I was an ochem tutor so all this info came back easy to me. I reviewed all the reaction bites the week of my test to make sure everything was fresh in my head. I also made flash cards because writing the reactions gets them in your head better. The real DAT was a lot easier and there was no hard synthesis problems that you’ll see on Bootcamp. QR This section gave me the most anxiety and ended up being my best section. On the plus full lengths I was running out of time and getting 16s…. And the week before my DAT. However when I reviewed the tests and watched all the corresponding videos I understand what to do. I studied for months and couldn’t do anything else so I just went into the test open minded and IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER. There were a couple of harder questions that were almost identical to the ones on Bootcamp Reading I used the vanilla method and highlighted along the way. You’ll catch in to the type of questions they ask which will help u decide what to highlight. All I did was the question banks then all the practice reading tests. I had to tell myself I was enjoying what I was reading because that truly makes a difference in your score. PAT I was scared for this section at first. It was really hard to do PAT everyday on top of studying for classes and the the sciences on the DAT. I really got serious about PAT a month before my test. I would do 3 sections a day. TFE was the hardest for me but the generator saved me and really improved my score on that. I think the real DAT was pretty similar to the practices. Test day My testing site was 35 minutes away so I got there extra early just incase. The nerves were so high but you’ll calm done once u sit in front of ur computer. You worked so hard and it will all pay off. It feels like another practice test but you’ll be more focused since you know this is the last one you ever take. You got this! 2023.06.10 00:14 qjrw22618 Does anyone else feel like the NFL wasted a cool opportunity with the way they handled the 17th game?
In my opinion, the way the NFL schedules teams' 17th games is convoluted and silly. You play the team that finished in the same divisional place as you last year in the division that you're going to play for your inter-conference games in two years. That seems like a lot of work to add an extra inter-conference game, when they could have done something cooler. Now, we're deep into the off-season, and I'm bored, so I came up with what I think is something cooler: extended rivalry games.
Basically, it's like this. Every team in the league would get one rival team from the other conference that they would play one game against every single year, regardless of the rest of the schedule. Also, the rivalries would generally be between pairs of teams that are geographically close to one another. So, for instance, every year, the Rams play the Chargers, the Giants play the Jets, the Steelers play the Eagles, the Cowboys play the Texans, the Ravens play the Commanders, and so on.
Now, like the current 17th game, which conference gets to host is changed on rotation every year so as not to give one conference an unfair advantage over the other. But, that's only for games that aren't played at the same stadium every time. Rams-Chargers and Giants-Jets would always be held at the same stadium every year. This gave me an idea. What if some of these rivalries were also played at pre-determined neutral sites? Like, what if Cowboys-Texans was played in Austin, and Steelers-Eagles was played at Penn State's stadium? That might be kind of neat.
Also, what if every year, all of these games were played in the penultimate week of the season? It would make these inter-conference rivalries more meaningful knowing that there's a much higher chance of them affecting your team's standings in the playoff/draft position race. It might also add a bit of exclusivity/fanfare/whatever to the games. "Oh boy, it's extended rivalry week!" Something like that. Like I said, it's the off-season, and I'm bored.

Basically, it's like this. Every team in the league would get one rival team from the other conference that they would play one game against every single year, regardless of the rest of the schedule. Also, the rivalries would generally be between pairs of teams that are geographically close to one another. So, for instance, every year, the Rams play the Chargers, the Giants play the Jets, the Steelers play the Eagles, the Cowboys play the Texans, the Ravens play the Commanders, and so on.
Now, like the current 17th game, which conference gets to host is changed on rotation every year so as not to give one conference an unfair advantage over the other. But, that's only for games that aren't played at the same stadium every time. Rams-Chargers and Giants-Jets would always be held at the same stadium every year. This gave me an idea. What if some of these rivalries were also played at pre-determined neutral sites? Like, what if Cowboys-Texans was played in Austin, and Steelers-Eagles was played at Penn State's stadium? That might be kind of neat.
Also, what if every year, all of these games were played in the penultimate week of the season? It would make these inter-conference rivalries more meaningful knowing that there's a much higher chance of them affecting your team's standings in the playoff/draft position race. It might also add a bit of exclusivity/fanfare/whatever to the games. "Oh boy, it's extended rivalry week!" Something like that. Like I said, it's the off-season, and I'm bored.
