I wanted a subreddit specifically for photographic film. It doesn't necessarily need to be 35mm; 16mm through 70mm is all fine, it just needs to be film. Photos. Movies. It all counts.

2023.04.27 20:53 cole780 [SELL] [US] Selling Sunscreens- BOJ, Canmake, Isntree, Skin Aqua
https://imgur.com/a/fzNn6Ly I bought some popular sunscreens in order to finally find myself an everyday sunscreen. I ended up liking Supergoop Unseen sunscreen the best, so I’m looking to sell the others
Here’s what I’m selling:
-BOJ relief sun: rice+ probiotics
-Isntree Hyluronic acid watery sun gel
-Isntree hyluronic acid natural sun cream
-Canmake mermaid skin gel uv clear 01
-Skin Aqua UV super moisture milk
I tried all of the sunscreens about 1-3 times. They were purchased from oo35mm or Teso Life (stores in NYC)
Im looking to get $50 shipped for everything. I paid a little extra for them since I bought them in person and didn’t have to wait to get them. I would prefer to sell them all together so it’s easier

2022.03.23 06:48 -GodSpeed Potentially silly question
Is fluoride free, really truly fluoride “effect” free?
I was just wondering if fluoride is bad, causes calcification of glands makes us numb that sort of thing.
What is the possibility of them achieving the same negative effect with alternative ingredients?
For instance I was reading one of the ingredients of a fancy tooth paste.
“ calcium phosphate”
Fluoride-free toothpaste from Japan. The first nanohydroxyapatite remineralizing toothpaste. Nano Medical Hydroxyapatite (nano) is a proprietary form of the calcium phosphate compound hydroxyapatite. Biocompatible, and even edible.
htps://oo35mm.com/products/apagard-premio-toothpaste
And from a med website, link below
Disturbances in calcium and phosphate balance can affect many parts of the body. As many people may use calcium phosphate to supplement their calcium intake, they may take too much and develop hypercalcemia. This excessive amount of calcium can result in several complications, which people may refer to asTrusted Source:
Groans: Hypercalcemia may result in discomfort and cause people to experience painful gastrointestinal symptoms. Bones: People may experience bone pain and are at risk of bone issues. Stones: Excessive calcium may cause kidney problems, such as kidney stones. Moans: This refers to the general feeling of fatigue and malaise people may experience. Thrones: This refers to the amount of time people may need to use the restroom due to increased urination and changes to bowel habits.
And the big one
Psychic overtones: This describes possible changes to mental state, such as lethargy, confusion, depression, and memory loss.
Wouldn’t this be the calcification of our glands that we are looking to avoid by cutting out fluoride?

2022.02.21 02:28 Mango-Fitzgerald Small businesses/shops to buy K Skincare from?
Hi friends!
Was wondering if anyone had recommendations for small owned shops that sell authentic Korean skincare? I've shopped from OhLolly (who I LOVE LOVE), and looked at oo35mm, but there are some products I've been meaning to grab that neither sell.
Looking forward to seeing what y'all say :)

2021.08.08 00:05 danslanuit FA-Safe Ceramides?
Hey everyone, I was looking for something to layer under the LRP Toleraine Sensitive Fluid Moisturizer pretty urgently... I messed up up skin barrier with too much tret and everything stings now. 2021.02.15 16:31 hades-town oo35mm Mini-Haul - iUNIK Beta Glucan Daily Moisture Cream, I'm From Ginseng Serum, Isntree Real Rose Calming Mask, Pelican Ichigo Milk Flavor Body Soap
2021.01.25 00:31 hades-town Shelfie + reviews of items bought from Peach & Lily, Ulta, oo35mm
2020.12.30 21:10 blanche_davidian I Spent 2020 Patting Products On My Face: Reviews Part 1 (Skincare + Body/Hair)
What a year, everyone! In order to stay safe in quarantine and keep busy, I committed to maintaining a good skincare routine this year and it has been successful! I'm going to skip reviews of really popular products (do we need another review of the Cosrx Snail Mucin or the Klairs toner? Probably not) and focus on some other items.
(I also broke one of my cardinal rules about consumption and waste and used a whole bunch of sheet masks this year---will review those soon!)
About me: 33f, light-medium Mediterranean complexion, skin type usually runs oily but the Santa Ana winds this fall/winter have been sucking the life out of my skin, so I'm trying to focus more on hydration and reducing redness and less on oil control. I have seen awesome improvements in my skin this year, but I can't attribute it all to the routine, because I also quit smoking this year and that's made a HUGE difference in my overall skin health. Acne is not much of an issue but I do tend to get CCs/bumpy forehead if I skip my routine for a bit.
All products were purchased from Stylevana, SokoGlam, Amazon, or oo35mm.
tl;dr version: the Beauty of Joseon serum is awesome and I need a replacement for the DHC cleansing oil because that guy sucks.
- DHC Oil Cleanser. My first AB product and first long-term skincare relationship; its been with me since my smudged-eyeliner days of 2009. It's the perfect weight and emulsifies and rinses off beautifully, so much so that I don't need a second cleanser after using it. But have you ever broken up with a decent person because of their shitty family? That's me and DHC this year. Sorry, I love you, but I can't deal with your dad. Product 10/10, company 0/10. WNRP. *sips Suntory whisky*
- The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil. Bought this in a set with the foam cleanser hoping to replace the DHC. It does not replace it. It's heavily scented, dosen't have much pull so I feel like I'm rubbing my face way too much, and it doesn't feel like it rinses clean. I now use it to clean the tar off my feet (Central Coast California life) after beach days, and my husband uses it to get gunk off his hands after work sometimes. 5/10 WNRP.
- TFS Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam. I honestly didn't hate this, it's a pretty standard foam cleanser that does its job! It's also fragranced, but in a more pleasant way than the cleansing oil. I moved away from foam cleansers entirely and haven't looked back since picking up a cream cleanser. 6/10 WNRP, but it's probably great for others that want a squeaky-clean feeling.
- Purito From Green Cleansing Oil - sample. No scent that I could discern. This worked better than TFS cleansing oil but still not great--it does not totally rinse clean, didn't really budge my Boy Brow, and my face still felt a little greasy afterwards. Pretty unmemorable overall TBH. 6/10 WNRP.
- COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisture Ampoule - I have no idea why I bought this when I have a bottle of Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion waiting to be used up and The Ordinary exists. It's pleasant to use, I'll give it that--it absorbs without any tackiness at all, which would probably suit someone that's more minimalist and doesn't want to spend too much time tapping products into their face. I do my night routine while watching Kdramas, so I have all the time in the world to tap things into my face that DON'T cost $20/oz. 4/10 WNRP.
- Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum. 10/10 WRP until I find something better. I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this - I don't believe in miracle products - but I've been using this since November and I'm noticeably less red throughout the day, to the point that I'm actually wearing BLUSH regularly for the first time in my life! For only 11 bucks it's surprisingly effective and I'm planning on trying the Repair serum as well.
- Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream. 9/10 WRP until I find a cheaper dupe. I'm on my second tube and I love this stuff. It feels like it should go on really greasy and heavy, but if you apply it to damp skin it works - this is definitely more on the occlusive side so it doesn't work as well in summer. Has a pleasant herbal scent like a lot of other Klairs products that I really enjoy.
- Banila Co Dear Hydration Water + Water Boost Cream. Samples. This stuff was great - has a really familiar scent I can't quite put my finger on, feels luxe and rich but sinks in without a trace - it honestly spreads and absorbs better than the Klairs cream, so I'm considering trying out a full-size because the price is right and it could be my perfect warm-weather cream. Two sample foils lasted me about a week, and I had zero issues crop up. no rating, but will purchase for further testing!
- Too Cool for School 5 in 1 Egg Mellow Cream. 7/10. I received this as a gift and it's not my favorite, but it does have its good qualities. I use this primarily as a sleeping pack/eye cream because it feels so heavy, but my skin definitely feels pleasantly plump the mornings after I use it. WNRP because of the price and because I can't stand the smell - it reminds me of those cheap vanilla body sprays I wore constantly in middle school and makes me want to gag.
- Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence. Yeah, I know I said I'd skip the popular stuff, but this is my first AB sunscreen, purchased in October, and it narrowly edged out the Purito because I decided to buy something with a longer, more established history. So glad I did, because it rocks. I have no comparison to earlier formulations, but the one thing I wanted to say about it is its reputation as being really alcohol-forward doesn't seem justified in my experience - it's not like whiffing a bottle of vodka. I can actually do the three-finger method with this and it all sinks in. Here's hoping for no Biore SPF scandals in 2021! 10/10 WRP.
BONUS: Hair and Body!
- Innisfree Camellia Hair Oil Serum 10/10 WRP. Is "glass hair" a thing yet? Because this stuff gives me glass hair. I have curly Southern European hair, so I've always been hesitant to use Asian hair products, thinking they wouldn't be as appropriate for my hair texture, but NOPE! I love this shit. It gives me that smooth cuticle feeling that I usually only get after flatironing my hair and makes my hair shine like nothing else. I especially like to use this on days when I'm going to braid my hair without straightening it, because it makes everything neat and really cuts down on the frizzies. The smell is kind of old-fashioned/classic floral, but I really like it.
- Sidmool Foot Peeling Gel. 5/10 WNRP. So I recently threw away my pumice stone after realizing how prehistoric and ineffective it was to rub rocks on my feet. I live somewhere with sandal weather nearly year-round, so that foot maintenance is important! I use this every other day and it keeps my heels from feeling scratchy against my sheets or stockings, but I really want something with a little more oomph.

2020.08.01 06:22 lightinsouciant [Routine Help] Combining vitamin C and peptides
I just started using TO Alpha Arbutin + Ascorbic Acid, and noticed that TO recommends avoiding combining vitamin C products with peptides. However, I think they say it’s due to potential issues with peptides denaturing and becoming less effective. I’ve also been using this eye cream that contains peptides:
https://oo35mm.com/products/a-h-c-pepta-active-real-eye-cream-for-face but I suspect the peptide content is pretty low. Can I use these together, or should I use one of the two products in the AM and another in the PM? Will they still be effective that way? If anyone has any insights into the effects of combining vitamin c and peptides, it would be much appreciated!

2020.07.26 01:11 Corgi727 Are there any US-based Online AB store that sells Japanese products?
I know that there are quite a few options out there for K-Beauty products such as Soko Glam and Ohlolly, but I'm having a difficult time finding online stores that also sell Japanese products. One I found was Glowie co, but their Japanese selections are quite limited. oo35mm is another one but it's pretty overpriced.

2020.07.14 05:33 feathereddinos Miche Bloomin False Eyelashes Review: Girly Cats, Glamorous Sexy, Sweet Brown, Girly Mix, Pure Sweet & Girly Flair.
| Please don't mind any excessive formatting and CAPS, this is done for the skim-readers among us. ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ This is for you Asian ladies and gents out there with small eyes who struggle to find lashes that look natural on them! https://preview.redd.it/bzo145jpiqa51.jpg?width=1207&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53b5e2efa5ecdfa3f896fbbba366de593bf3c71b What I look for in my falsies: - The THINNEST possible tapered ends for the ultimate natural look. NO BLUNT, LOW-EFFORT-LOPPED-OFF-AT-WHATEVER-POINT hairs. ABSOLUTELY EFFING NOT. - Individual hairs that do not give off that plastic-y shine, gotta be natural shine - Featherweight bands that don't make your lids feel sleepy - Absolutely no pokes & irritation - Bands that keep their shape, making it easier for them to line up to your lash line when applying - Reusable is a must. They must be sturdy enough to be used many times over. - Not so dramatic on my small Eastern Asian eyes (EVERYTHING. On the Western market is too drag-esque for my eyes, the natural ones like Ardell 110 are not so dramatic, but they are still too fake looking to me) - Affordable. I am peasant. Why Miche Bloomin'? - I've only tried this and one other Japanese brand. - They're more affordable than Dolly Wink & D-Up upfront. - I can get them off of Tok Tok Beauty (Arizona, USA) & oo35mm (New York, USA) What other lashes have I tried?: - Various "classic" Ardell styles: blunt ends, plastic-y, actually expensive compared to the Japanese ones while not being as high quality. - Various Kiss natural styles: Better quality than Ardell, more natural-looking, but still too dramatic and slightly plastic-like compared to MB. - Random Japanese lash brand I cannot remember - a couple of styles - individual hairs were quite natural and the band lightweight but WAY too dramatic. - Random falsies from China & Taiwan: Aliexpress faux mink ones, the $1 box ones, eBay, etc. etc.: The hairs themselves are very natural on the faux mink ones (every single one of them way way way too dramatic tho), completely plastic and ugly on non-faux mink, the bands were of very inconsistent quality, VERY thick and uncomfortable, supremely heavy, irritated my eyes with all the poking. ON TO THE REVIEW! (۶* ‘ꆚ’)۶” ------------------------------------- First up, my lashes curled with nothing on: Sorry about blurry photos, my phone's front camera takes way lower quality pics compared to the back camera Makeup: - Shu Uemura Hard 9 Formula Eyebrow Pencil in Stone Gray: Really great for super sparse brows, lasts forever. Literally every brow product ever takes on a reddish tone for me because of the olive in my undertone and this is the only one that doesn't. (Neutral-to-warm, yellow olive, NC25 depth yes I got matched at MAC by an amazing MUA.) - Canmake Brow Coat (TokTok Beauty), TAKASHIMA (Canmake's official US Distributor, located in California): makes my brows LAST ALL DAY, even through rubbing - Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Black Brown: Bulletproof. Will never smudge. A nice, rich, almost-black, but not as harsh as straight-up black on my more muted skin tone. I prefer gel for a more natural look for this is what I go for if I want something that is guaranteed to not smudge throughout the day. - Shiseido Eyelash Curler: A classic. I bought one like 3 years ago and it's still going strong. Never pinches my eyes, unlike the Shu Uemura one. Replacement pads are super cheap and last a good while as well. Perfect curls every time. Don't buy the knock-offs, they last at most 5 months before pooping out. ❀❀❀ From my most to least favorite ❀❀❀ ✬ NO. 07 GIRLY CATS https://preview.redd.it/kmkn56aojqa51.jpg?width=365&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=246124f98a7adbc5a513fe2135041f3fe81c0e7c https://preview.redd.it/twvlj57reqa51.jpg?width=918&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9aa88275f5013b905a3e59a71dfeb9a5ac13c9b7 https://preview.redd.it/9ab27ovseqa51.jpg?width=557&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bebace9d9e33cd1de579c08e0f97b4c82eb81e8b https://preview.redd.it/5404e9wteqa51.jpg?width=489&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed7e8e0b29593c1236d06e55670c7f4d643fff81 PROS - Incredibly lightweight, super comfortable, feels like nothing. - Super sturdy: one pair lasts me many, many wears. The bands never lose their shape. - The most unique of lash styles I have seen. I love the fan-out effect. This gives me a tremendous self-confidence boost. - Perfect length for my small eyes. - Never looks fake. - The other more dramatic styles I have to be really careful with the angle at which I apply them or they look too "lifted", creating a less natural look, but this one I don't have to do that and can apply at any angle. - The EASIEST style to work with - put glue on, use tweezers to line up the inner corners, bam, done. I find that other styles have a harder time sticking to my lash line at one go. CONS - Needs mascara or it will be a bit TOO natural.. (My sister didn't like this style because it was too natural for her. She has much bigger eyes than I do.) - Hard to find online!!!!! ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ ✬ NO. 29 GLAMOROUS SEXY One of the newest styles! PROS - One of the more glam-style lashes from MB while looking still pretty natural. - Tho not as absolutely soft and fluffy as faux mink lashes, still very soft and feathery. - Heavier style but still feels very lightweight! CONS - Gotta put it on at a more downward angle for the most natural look. - A lil' bit harder to have the whole thing stick on at one go, at least for me. ✬ NO. 12 Sweet Brown https://preview.redd.it/q3qwq00gkqa51.jpg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00eb88204191e18342874c0014bfae82a25fde43 https://preview.redd.it/bk3973colqa51.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c14b353c363a47046057d7664621340c5f295290 https://preview.redd.it/la383uvzlqa51.jpg?width=981&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ed9d3d1c547d79aaa66175dd2b8b7e279db03a1 https://preview.redd.it/yx0dapn0mqa51.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=59188376e8ef771dd6441a699b76cef351fc239f PROS - Although they're quite long, the tips are a little more lighter colored for a more natural, blended-in look. - Lightweight, comfortable. - The bands are ever so slightly thicker and dark-colored unlike the other styles, making them look more natural. Same pros and cons as the last two, but I don't really like this as it gives me the 40 LASHES!!! look... ✬ NO. 03 Pure Sweet https://preview.redd.it/dfznsv7ioqa51.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7401ee6f8c25901686c57eb85b2399982f31c6f https://preview.redd.it/e16lansjoqa51.jpg?width=1227&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e50b145a7b745bc2a8b311597985f76b89a814d This one is okay. Believe it or not, but it's a bit too short and natural of a style yet it isn't as natural looking at the other styles. The hairs are stiffer and a bit too plastic compared to them, including the plastic shine. Not terrible, but I would not repurchase this. It's okay if you want a tiny bit more oomph to everyday with mascara. ✬ NO. 06 Girly Flair https://preview.redd.it/f5wyzzu3pqa51.jpg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41df7d9a71f4262af7d0b02298a6b3a0659e5d00 Ah, the famous Girly Flair. I found out about this first through Pony Syndrome on Youtube. I can't find the exact video for some reason anymore. But this style is okay. Did not appreciate a dude friend asking me if I was wearing fake lashes while hanging out in a group. This looked great on Pony but it was okay on me, a little too dramatic, but the reason it's my least favorite isn't even that: This style is really NOT sturdy at all. It falls apart way too easily, the knots just come free from the band if you slightly pull on them and the band doesn't keep the shape as well as the other ones. For one time use, it is okay but this one is not for reusing repeatedly. I really tried to get this one to work for me. But it wasn't meant to be I guess. =/ ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Hope that helps. ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_ submitted by feathereddinos to AsianBeauty [link] [comments] |

2019.12.12 01:18 elle1994 Anyone have experience with the brand Zaodam?
I bought two products by Manyo Factory that came highly recommended in the oo35mm store in NY but I can’t find any further info in English online about the line – finding it really good and soothing but still light-weight for my sensitive skin that’s prone to areas of dryness as well as breakout.
[title of this post should read the Zaodam line of the Manyo Factory brand]
The product: Zaodam Sooc Essence Toner + sheet mask
I’d love to know if some of the other products are worth looking at! Love the packaging and it was very reasonable pricing while seeming quite sophisticated with a small ingredient list.
Added it to my lineup of: Hada labo oil cleanser Cosrx low ph good morning cleanser Zaodam sooc essence toner Hada labo melano cc Occasionally cosrx snail essence Purito centella green level recovery cream
Night time: laneige water sleep mask
Deep pore cleanse/exfoliation: cosrx BHA, innisfree volcanic clay mask
