This is probably major spoilers for anyone that hasn't done the Sage quests and received their abilities - so you've been warned if you haven't done them yet. This will also be a long post, so you've been warned about that oo.
No joke, how did the Zelda team/Nintendo work on this game for 5 years and not think about how annoying these abilities are to use the way they've been implemented here. Let's look at them all in order.
Wind - This ability is probably the most useful, since the prompt for it shows up when you're paragliding (a great time to actually use it) and it's actually a very useful tool for traversal. However when you're on the ground it's a total pain since 99% of the time I've activated it it happens by accident when Tulin gets too close to me and it sends the items I want to pick up flying into the distance. Major buzzkill. IMO the controls for this on the ground should have been similar for Revali's Gale (you press and hold X down, crouching and blasting the wind gust in front of you). This works in the air as well, since you would normally open the glider with X, and holding it down would summon the wind gust. Making it the A button the way they did it conflicts way too much with picking up items/interacting with things.
Fire - This ability is great for breaking rocks, if the cooldown wasn't super annoying, making you have to sit around during the down-time. Further Yunobo riding on every craft is a cool idea, but a total miss - he weighs down the craft and also aiming while flying is almost impossible in the vertical direction. On top of that his big ball self heavily obscures vision while flying. Once again, poor implementation. Pressing the attack button (Y) while on the craft should summon him onto the vehicle, with another Y press to shoot him out. He's good when you want him, you just don't want him all the time. As for the ground rollout attack, perhaps pressing Y when you have your bow aimed (ZR) would summon him in front of you in his rolling ball form, and make you shoot him out when you release the ZR trigger.
Water - This ability by far is the coolest. Automatic shield like Daruk's Protection, and a big AOE attack? Hell yeah! Except you need to talk to Sidon in the middle of the fight..when he's almost certainly elsewhere..and the effect only lasts for 10 seconds at which point you'll need to find him and talk to him again. IMO If you have him enabled and have your shield held down with ZL pressing A for the first time should activate him instead of parrying. After that pressing A would work as parrying normally would, the same way you could parry with Daruk's Protection active. And then attacking with the bubble around you with Y would work as it currently does. The 10 second cooldown for the effect is honestly perfectly fine if you can reliably activate it. They could even extend the cooldown a bit for that effect for balance since it's so strong already.
Lightning - Being able to summon a lightning strike is absolutely awesome, and a great addition. But once again, this is a poor implementation. How are you supposed to find Riju, talk to her, activate the ability, let the lightning AOE area expand to the necessary amount and then shoot the arrow you need in the middle of a fight while everything else is going on?? IMO the way this should have been done was by using the item fuse menu to your arrow. Normally on the far left side of the arrow-item fuse menu it says None/No item which is good when you want to fire a 'raw' arrow. I suggest that on the left side of the None it has a lightning symbol that you can switch to (not unlike fusing an item to your arrow normally) which starts the AOE lightning area expansion while you have that lightning symbol selected. The arrow then fires and works as it currently does now.
I know I probably sound super nitpicky but it grinds my gears so much the way they've done the Sage abilities compared to how well they were done in BOTW. I really love that the Sages fight alongside you in battle, but finding an opening mid-fight to find them, talk to them, activate their ability, and making sure you're actually talking to the right one when all 4 of them are around you and they're all the same blue colour is just way more trouble than it's worth, and I end up not using them anywhere near as much as I would like to. IMO there's no point having such great abilities when the barrier to entry of actually using them makes you not want to even touch them. Please tell me at least one other person on this sub can relate - it's driving me crazy lol

Hi! I’m new here! I have a question for those who live in suburbs in the US and streaming from there. What kind of internet do you use? I don't have wifi and I'm only here for 1 month. but when I use mobile hotspot on my laptop to stream, my viewers says that the broadcast freezes terribly. What would you recommend? I also tried to stream directly from my phone, but it's damn inconvenient when they DMs me, i have to type with my fingers on the screen and instead of your face people look at how you hit the screen lol

Okay so this is for a story I'm working on and its not done but I think the magic system is pretty solid.
Magic is alive and a unnaturally occurring phenomenon. Its chaotic and limitless. Humans can manipulate the natural world using magic with just their mind. However, magic demands balance. For every spell cast, every change made by magic, there is a cost. Unfocused magic has disastrous costs. There is also a requirement to use magic: belief. Mages have to genuinely believe in their ability to manipulate the natural world but it can take a toll on the mage. To do magic without any focus will cost the mage their sanity. The can lose their grip on reality believing the reality they create in their head is the real one. To combat this, mages created New Magic. Here are the differences
Old Magic: Objectively the most versatile and powerful kind of magic. Fueled by a mages emotions and willpower, its easy to lose one's self. A true master of this kind of magic has to be delusional. To truly believe in their magic and give up their sanity. To think themselves more real than anything else. This type of magic is dangerous and unpredictable and its user's are chaotic and volatile. The only limit is the mage's perception on what they conceive is real. However this magic is unfocused and therefore less real than New Magic
New Magic: Mages solution to the uncontrollable nature and high cost of magic. To do this they create limits and restrictions for their spells. This actually makes them stronger by grounding them in reality reducing the strain on the mage's sanity. For instance, an Old Magic fireball might be both hot and concussive but it doesn't last longer than the mages concentration and sucks energy from the caster or surrounding living things. A New Magic fireball would have requirements to be cast. For starters it might only be hot the only force being created from the heat. It may have physical components like say a naturally occurring crystal soaked in a flammable liquid. And it may have a trigger word and only be able to move in one direction. By placing all these restrictions a mage grounds their spell closer to reality making the cost on their psyche lesser. But also it makes it harder to counter said spell. To do so, a mage would need to know all the components the caster used. And a mage may create any requirements and restrictions on their spell as they please. But as New Magic is more grounded to reality, a mage needs less belief to cast spells and their spells can last longer.
The whole theme of this system is supposed to be sacrifice and shortcuts. Old Magic is basically an analog for life's shortcuts i.e. substance abuse, brute force, manipulation, etc. Great rewards but the costs are heavy. New Magic is supposed to be handwork. By facing reality and actually working with your limits, you can alot of great things but it will be harder. The other theme is sacrifice. By giving up more you for what you care about you can do great things but at what point is it too much? How do you know when to stop, when you're losing yourself? How much are you willing to give to make the world you wanna see? Granted this isn't a perfect metaphor but in the story it'll do.
Anyways I'm open to criticism and just wanted to see what others would think and get it off my chest. Hope you find it interesting.

2023.05.29 07:52 StevKrav Pistol Brace eForm 1 - Responsible Person - Mailing Address vs. Home Address - Can't have two addresses like in paper Form 1
Although I filled out eForm 1s, the only instructions available were for the regular paper Form 1. On the paper Form 1 the directions say that when filling out the Responsible Person section you can use your mailing address (i.e. PO Box). When you submit your Form 1, you can (and need to) put down your home address where the weapon will reside.
When I did this on the eForm 1, the Responsible Person info automatically populated the address section with info from the Responsible Party section, and did not allow me to enter an address other than the one from the Responsible Party section (the eForm 1 is different from the paper Form 1 in this regard). This means that the eForm 1s that I filled out have my PO Box as their address.
I presume these are going to get bumped back to me to correct. My question is, should I withdraw the ones I submitted and submit them again a corrected address for the Responsible Person (even though I never get mail there), or should I wait and see if they are bumped back to me and correct them then? Since these are for the pistol brace amnesty deal, I am wondering which is the better move.

I posted earlier about my bike pulling to the left. I was thoroughly convinced that it was the bike and not me, because I’d never had this problem before. Mechanics couldn’t reproduce the problem, replaced the tires since there was minor cupping, tweaked swing arm position, handlebar position, everything I could think of and nothing resolved the issue.
I left one thing out of my earlier post though. Last year I was in a really bad car (not motorcycle) accident that resulted in some major injuries, including a partial crush of my right patella. With surgery and recovery, my right leg was immobilized for two months and wasn’t fully load bearing for another two. My right patella is still in 3 pieces and I have somewhat limited range of motion. Obviously, all that resulted in massive atrophy, and consequently, loss of confidence in my right leg and over reliance on my left leg.
I have no idea why it didn’t immediately occur to me that this would affect the way I ride a motorcycle. But when I ran out of things to blame, I really paid attention to the way I was pinning myself to the bike. And I’m basically just using my left leg entirely. Not only that, I’m digging my left toes into the the peg with a ton of force to compensate for the fact I’m essentially treating my right leg like dead weight, regardless of whether I’m turning right, turning left, riding straight, etc. And I’m also compensating by over-utilizing my right arm, so when I’m on the throttle I’m also pulling slightly on the right handlebar. Of course this all results in the bike perpetually tracking to the left.
The issue is, it’s not just a psychological problem. My right leg is still very atrophied, and nowhere near the strength of my left. So even though I’m aware of it now, I’m physically limited to relying on my left leg to pin me to the bike and keep the weight off the handlebars in all instances, regardless of turning direction. I’m pretty concerned about the safety of doing this. I haven’t had to make any emergency swerves since the accident, but my right turns especially have slowed to a crawl. My right leg just feels incapable of supporting me to any meaningful degree, and unless I’m laser focused on using my right, I habitually weight my left side entirely.
The injury isn’t resolved by any means. I’m still in physical therapy and it’s unclear whether I will make much meaningful progress beyond my current state. Coming to this realization, I’m kind of at a loss. I’ve relied on the bike as so much more than just transportation for so long that I don’t think I even have any other coping mechanisms for stress. In addition to just riding, I’ve learned to do maintenance, repair, and upgrades myself. I’ve spent all my expendable cash on tools and parts and modifications and courses and whatever else for years. I’m devastated at the thought of being unable to ride.
I guess the point of this meandering post is to ask whether anyone else has had a similar physical limitation like this and, if so, how did you overcome it? Are there any tips or things I could try to modify in my riding style to compensate for the disparity between my leg strengths? I can live with riding in a more reserved, slower, less aggressive style. But the thought of abandoning riding entirely before I’m even 40 is devastating. Any advice is welcomed.

I’ve spent all my expendable cash on tools and parts and modifications and courses and whatever else for years. I’m devastated at the thought of being unable to ride.
I guess the point of this meandering post is to ask whether anyone else has had a similar physical limitation like this and, if so, how did you overcome it? Are there any tips or things I could try to modify in my riding style to compensate for the disparity between my leg strengths? I can live with riding in a more reserved, slower, less aggressive style. But the thought of abandoning riding entirely before I’m even 40 is devastating. Any advice is welcomed.

With the recent finale to a certain Star Trek series, Picard, I thought I'd emphasize a through-line in this whole undertaking. One I neglected in the Prelude: That being the importance of a legacy sequel actually feature not just a smooth transition from old guard to the new heroes, but active collaboration. That's what we were looking for in the Sequels. So if you felt like you missed that, I more than recommend the third season of Picard, it really delivered on that front where the Star Wars Sequels failed, in my opinion. Right, with that out of the way, now let's get a move on! **** Voices of the Jedi With plans made for the rendezvous with the Empire of the Hand, Rey and her fellow Jedi depart for Rhen Var on the Millennium Falcon. Overseeing the mission via long-distance comms are Lando Calrissian, and now-seasoned Commander Poe Dameron. Assisting on the Falcon are
"A Chosen One shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the Force be restored." As Rey meditates in the meantime, Finn notices a passage following up the prophecy. That when the Chosen One's legacy is tested, those who follow in his footsteps will be guarded by a warrior called the Sword of the Jedi. Luke joins Rey in her meditation. For some time, they've been attempting to achieve a lesson taught by the Journal, something Jedi Masters and Padawans practiced in the days of the Old Republic. A state of Oneness with the Force, in which the voices of past Jedi lend their wisdom and strength in the face of the Dark Side.
Ben hints that he knows his uncle is dying, after his use of Force-projection on Crait. Two years on, he asks Luke how much time he has left. Luke is unsure, saying only that he'll do what he can for his students for as long as he can.
She almost recoils from it until a calm voice tells her to stay. The voice of a man whose presence reminds Rey of Luke, and Leia. The spirit tells Rey she cannot hide from her pain forever.
On the frigid planet Rhen Var, the Falcon crew land and come face to face with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Speaking for the Empire of the Hand, Thrawn cordially greets Luke and makes note of his heritage, with Thrawn having fought alongside Anakin Skywalker long ago.
Locals take the Jedi to the excavation site. Journeying inside, they pass a mass of hieroglyphs, one of which bears an uncanny resemblance to the Alliance Starbird.
Finn's romantic feelings towards Rey have grown stronger, and though she is more reserved she feels much the same way. But the truth of her past, and the abandonment by her parents on Jakku, keeps her cautious and afraid to let herself take such a significant step. In a moment alone, Ben encourages Finn not to give up.
But before the Jedi can secure the dais and take it back to Republic space, ships of the First Order arrive, headed by a Xyston-class Destroyer. The ships launch a swift and brutal attack on Rhen Var, with the allied Chiss and Republic forces barely holding them off as a First Order attack was not expected for days. The cause of the sudden assault is revealed when the Knights of Sith appear in force. Numbering in a small army by now, the dark force is headed by the Supreme Leader himself. Starkiller, coordinating his forces through a shared link in the Dark Side, directs his knights to seize the dais. As Luke and Finn hold off several elite knights, Ben and Rey are hounded by visions of Starkiller. As the vengeful Sith menaces the pair, their minds are clouded and they find themselves experiencing visions of Exegol. Then, caught off guard, they are attacked by Starkiller himself. Luke, sensing their distress, comes to their aid but is also shocked when his mind is briefly transported to the Sith stronghold on Exegol, where the specter of a furious Darth Sidious reaches out to him. The shock is distraction enough for Starkiller to employ a surprise force technique none of the Jedi anticipate; the power to drain the living Force from other beings. Starkiller attacks all Jedi present with the ability.
The team retreat to the Falcon, which drives off any attacking First Order troops. But the dais is taken, with the First Order's Destroyer unleashing a devastating superlaser blast which scorches much of Rhen Var's surface. As the Falcon flies away, their mission having failed, Thrawn coordinates a defensive strategy among his fleet while they assess the unexpected superweapon among the First Order's arsenal. Meanwhile, Rey and her fellow Jedi recover from the near-fatal use of the Dark Side while reeling from the horrifying extent of Starkiller's newfound power. As well as its source. The Countdown Republic and Chiss fleets mobilize, with the news of the attack on Rhen Var spreading quick. The tenuous alliance have picked up a signal across all known worlds. A countdown, which will end in only one week's time.
Even Thrawn, having served the corrupt Emperor long ago, is uncharacteristically nervous.
Meanwhile, Rey's recovery from the Force-drain leaves her rattled as she has experienced the pull of the Dark Side once before, in the cave on Ahch-To. She confesses to Finn that she felt something else besides fear when Starkiller attacked. She felt rage. Rage towards Starkiller for what he'd done to Ben and Luke's family. Rage for manipulating Ben into murdering his father, and trying to reopen her old, unresolved childhood wounds.
Return of the Sith On the reconstructed Eclipse, once again flagship of the First Order, Starkiller holds a council with his elite. Allegiant Admiral Pryde relays their plan to all in attendance. A wide-scale extermination of worlds loyal to the Republic, set to a countdown. In one week's time, the "Final Order" will be enacted and carve a path from the Outer Rim to the galactic core worlds. Coruscant is their final target, the seat of their enemies' authority and site of a long-buried secret sought by the Knights of Sith. General Hux, loyal to the cause but skeptical of the Sith as always, demands the Supreme Leader tell them what lies beneath Coruscant's surface that demands their attention.
Starkiller, he claims, owes his followers transparency. Pryde attempts to silence his nephew, but tensions reach a head when Starkiller demonstrates his use of Force-drain again and brings Hux to the brink of death. The Supreme Leader makes it clear any who challenge him now will suffer the same fate, and the next time he won't stop.
Cutting his palm, Starkiller smears the side of the dais displaying the Son and opens himself to a state of Oneness.
And beyond the veil is a series of passages that bridge space and time. This, Sidious instructs, is their goal. The object of their pursuit, beyond any armies or empires, which passage through Mortis will grant Starkiller. The World Between Worlds **** And that's it for this segment of The Living Force. And now back to the entire point this letter was directed towards children of God yet John says right here by this criteria we know who are Children of God. Notice you aren’t a Child of God just because John writes to you but you are one by these evidences
This confirms the other passages of scripture that Paul talks to congregations of “believers” but says if you do xyz then this will happen to you. That doesn’t mean those people lost their salvation it’s a description of who truly are and aren’t born of God.

- Yet just verses later John gives evidences of who are Children of God.
- John says if you keep on sinning you have either seen him or have known him! So then how can a Christian who has known Christ even for a period not have known him?

Is there a list of all materials that I created? Like in the file browser / FileSystem? How do I know which material is set on which object? How do I know if I already made a material set as unique? How do I know 2 objects share the same material ? How do I know if there are 2 Materials that have the same base texture?
I cannot find enough indicators or just direct information about this in the Godot editor. Maybe I have forgotten to click a button, maybe I don't have an option on.
In blender, as an example, I always know which object has which material as there is also a list of all materials I can just open. In Godot, I have not really found such a feature.

My husband was no contact with his mom for 7 years for some really intense and complicated issues. He reconnected with her just shortly before he and I met and began dating. I was aware of what had transpired with her, but felt like I was pretty open to who she was now and not like I let the past cloud my judgment of her as I got to know her. I really didn’t have any issues with her when we were dating, engaged, or early marriage. But when we started having kids there became more and more problems.
Its been almost a decade now, and I have a laundry list of ways she has hurt me over the years. My opinion of her is formed by my own traumatic experience with her, not my husbands upbringing. Beyond that, there is just so much about her personality I dislike. She is passive aggressive, critical, overbearing, uses gifts/services to guilt trip people, she doesn’t listen and disregards boundaries, she lies, she’s racist, she frequently disparages people about their weight, plays favorites with the grandkids, never apologizes for how she’s hurt people. And she does not change.
Now mind you, she’s also a very high energy, cheerful, generous person who wants to be the life of the party everywhere she goes. When she’s talking to me in front of my husband, it is very positive, gushy compliments, etc.
I feel on guard whenever I’m around her. I get full blown anxiety attacks in preparation for her visits. I spend hours after her visits on the phone with my own mother trying to unpack the mind games and my mom always reminds me “this is who she is and how she will always be.” Every text I get from my MIL, my brain finds fault in “she’s guilt tripping with that line.” “She’s just acting without asking first again!”
My husband and I are at an impasse in our conversations about her. It’s been a few years since she’s done something big, horrible, and dramatic enough for us to cut contact, it’s just small consistent crap every interaction with her. Every conversation we have about her feels like I’m bringing up my concerns/negative thoughts about her, my husband agrees that they’re true about her but is also frustrated by me expressing them. He says I’m not showing her Christian love, that I only choose to see the bad in her, that she’s towing the line in our relationship and I barely reciprocate, that I’m harboring bitterness towards her, that he thinks it’s clear I hate her because I don’t ask him to pray with me for God to change my heart about her.
I feel like I’m doing what I have to to maintain a peaceful relationship with her. I’m not argumentative, i engage and interact in conversation, I make intentional efforts to be thoughtful and hospitable (I was the one who thought through and purchased her Mother’s Day gift, I try to have her favorite snacks when she visits and offer some flexibility in scheduling). But when it’s just me and my husband, I’m blunt. I will tell him directly that I don’t want to see her more than I absolutely have to. I will lament the latest thing she tried to manipulate me with.
I don’t know what to make of his comments. Being around her is like a constant “red alert! Danger!” Experience in my mind and body and I don’t know how to reconcile what it would look like to be full of my husbands idea of Christian love for her while also doing what I can to protect myself and my kids from her abuses.

He says I’m not showing her Christian love, that I only choose to see the bad in her, that she’s towing the line in our relationship and I barely reciprocate, that I’m harboring bitterness towards her, that he thinks it’s clear I hate her because I don’t ask him to pray with me for God to change my heart about her.
I feel like I’m doing what I have to to maintain a peaceful relationship with her. I’m not argumentative, i engage and interact in conversation, I make intentional efforts to be thoughtful and hospitable (I was the one who thought through and purchased her Mother’s Day gift, I try to have her favorite snacks when she visits and offer some flexibility in scheduling). But when it’s just me and my husband, I’m blunt. I will tell him directly that I don’t want to see her more than I absolutely have to. I will lament the latest thing she tried to manipulate me with.
I don’t know what to make of his comments. Being around her is like a constant “red alert! Danger!” Experience in my mind and body and I don’t know how to reconcile what it would look like to be full of my husbands idea of Christian love for her while also doing what I can to protect myself and my kids from her abuses.

I've been running into some odd things in the game lately and I'm wondering if some of them are bugs or intentional.
1) Cooking pots stored on shelves don't save their contents between saved games - I wanted to collect one of each recipe but it doesn't seem possible - Even the cooking pot in my inventory doesn't always seem to save contents between saves, especially during multiplayer 2) Cooking pots on a fire with meals in them don't show for everyone in multiplayer - I made a stew, and it let me eat from it, but when my husband went to look at it it just said the pot had water in it. 3) Placing objects on shelves next to walls doesn't seem to work properly - Before, I could just add the items directly as long as one was already on the shelf. Now all that does is jiggle the logs on the wall behind the shelf. 4) Can't place lightbulbs, flasks, solar panels, or turtle shells on shelves. No storage container for stones apart from sled. - Lightbulbs and flasks at the very least should be able to go on shelves. - All the other items are big so I guess I can see why they can't go on shelves, but we could get some way to store them 5) Turtle shell traps are triggered by small animals - the other traps were fixed not to, so this one in particular really does seem like an oversight 6) In multiplayer, gliders don't respawn for the host but do for guests - Like, all this does is force my husband to pick up the glider, give it to me, save, leave, then re-enter so that he can pick up another glider. - the knight v respawns so why not the glider? Gliders have limited uses - you need a high enough spot to get one going and once you get to a location you still have to hike to get back. Seems limiting enough. 7) Can't equip Virginia with the revolver - like, why not? Let me replace the pistol with the revolver at least - come to that why can't we give Kelvin a chainsaw or a good axe? 8) No Knight V spawn location on the golf course - Not exactly a bug but what an oversight. The one place it would be pure pleasure to be able to ride around on the knight v and the closest one is through the forest miles away. 9) Flasks only have two sips, quenching thirst fully requires four - Even with the second sip finally working, this seems extremely restrictive. 10) No real way to keep multiple recipes - At the most you can have one in the pot and one in a flask. Of course, this also means you're not really using either to carry water. The cooking system feels like we could at least have more ways to keep different recipes for different occasions on us - a flask that has eggnog for winter emergencies for example. 11) Turtle egg spawns in one location, at one time, and infrequently - talking about eggnog, the recipe requires five turtle eggs and I can't store recipes on a shelf between saves. Eggnog is only useful in the cold, eggs can only be found in spring and even then I barely ever find more than 4. It just seems like a totally pointless recipe considering the restrictions in place.

We stopped talking the day of her birthday, actually. We've always had a rocky relationship. I always felt like she preferred my older sister and she always labeled me as the "black sheep" of the family anyways. She used to say, or always says, I have a "cold heart" and supposedly, I only care about myself. Well, honestly, I decided to cut her off the day of her birthday. It might be something insignificant but I felt as though, this was really my last straw. The day of her birthday, I woke up and the only thing I could think of, is making her a facebook post. She loves it when people show her off and she tries to make it seem like she has a perfect life online. Well, I wrote her something meaningful and posted the best pictures of her on my timeline. A couple hours passed, and no like from her or anything. My older sister commented under my post "Happy Birthday, mom" and my mom replied ONLY to her comment, saying "Thank you my sweet daughter, I love you so much." ....... This is not the first time she's done this, where she ignores my posts and just comments back to the people she only cares about. I look back to go see the post after a couple hours and I see she replied back to a few people under my post but never wrote a comment at me directly or even liked the stupid post. I decided to delete the post and unfriend her on facebook. I felt embarrased and somehow disrespected. After that, she just started ignoring me around the house and can't even stand to be in the same room as me. Why is she hurt if she's the one who publicly ignores me and makes me feel like shit?? I usually go apologize or buy her starbucks whenever she's upset at me, but this time, I feel like I've had enough. I can't deal with the emotional manipulation anymore.

Idk how I feel about anything anymore. I'm kind of numb and detached. I feel fine. I do dissociate a lot and prob drink too much. I had issues with cocaine, over-used psychedelics which kind of fried my brain, and had a horrible sex life. But honestly now I'd consider myself very successful financially/academically. For fetches with dynamic query params (something like a table with filters), I'm thinking to use swr, which would fetch to an endpoint that simply calls a function that queries the db. The same function would also be used directly in server components that don't need dynamic filtering. That way the logic is at least centralized.
I feel like this way of doing it defeats the benefit the new loading.js abstraction or React's suspense in favor of the old pattern (some variation of isLoading ?

Here we go! submitted by UseApprehensive1102 to cuecardgameAvid [link] [comments] Energy: 3 Power: 70 Rarity: Rare (Basic) Special Ability: IO.U 3 Energy (When drawn, a random card in your hand costs +3 Energy until played.) Io is a heavy-hitter with a sabotaging ability. It gives out 3 Energy as a debt to a random card in your deck and keeps it until played. It has over 20 PPE, not bad for a card of this caliber. What makes it powerful, however, is the buffs it can receive. It can easily get buffs from The Molly Maguires, Pumpkin Toadlet, Boxing and Area 51, due to being a Rare card, costing 3 Energy, having 70 base Power, and being a Solar System card, respectively. Thus, it is quite easy to use and buff this card. It can hit really hard, and in high energy Leagues where the "Energy debt" does not matter, it can shine really well. Even if it inflicts the "Energy debt" on itself, it still has a good Power breakthrough, 6E/70P is easily 11.67 PPE. Not to mention that the RNG nature of this card means that this card can give the "Energy debt" to cards that won't have a problem being more expensive at all, like Great Smog Of London, Braneworld and Common Carp, all of which benefit from not being played. However, due to its high base power, it is also easy to burn, so watch out for Shuuvia and Raphael. Even regular Power reduction like the ones from Lu Bu, Grand Archer Yi, and Chupacabra, can pose a threat to this card, not to mention that it is still vulnerable to Energy increase debuffs like Triathlon and Assassin Bug and from Lock like Europa and Loch Ness Monster. In general, the biggest threat to this card is its vulnerability to debuffs, not just ones that affect this card, but also ones that can attack your Energy supply directly, like Wizard Nebula, Genghis Khan and King Cobra. Overall, I give this card an A-, due to its easy compatibility with support and good stats for cost, even with the debuff. |

Do you think I can use this to draw the solution still? Or should I use a past needle since this is one I don’t inject directly into any skin? Or should I just literally miss a week and be safe?
