I’m doing a project where I redraw Alphonse Mucha pieces with my own characters from a fantasy story I’m working on-one of them is from a country based on Mongolia (for the moment, idk if I’m totally sold on the idea), but she’s been living for a while in a place that’s quasi-Chinese and is wearing clothing to match (actually based on Jin Guanyao’s outfit from Cheng Qing Ling). Anyway, the piece I’m drawing her into is called Ruby and it has red flowers in it that look a little like lilies? I honestly don’t know much about flowers. But since I’m being a little loose with it I decided to draw her with English poppies instead, mostly because they’re blooming right now in my neighbor’s yard and I think they’re pretty (and easier to draw)
Now, I’m probably overthinking this but is there any chance that someone will come across it and be offended thinking I’m making an insinuation about opium? It may sound silly but I really worry about these things and I honestly don’t want to offend anyone!

How my arrangement works
This is meant to be long term, it's going to take time to establish a connection and trust. If you're expecting to talk to me for 2 hours and get 400$ it's not going to happen. Ironically, I was scammed last month out of a starting trial period with a real person for 400$ after speaking to that person for two weeks. I don't always take two weeks to get to know someone but it depends on the vibes. Consideration
Where you and I will be when you decide to reach out to me. We'll get to know the other from our vanilla life to our experience in the kink life, learning of the others limitations and interest. I found myself in a blank white room without doors. It was cold and I was sitting alone on a single-seat, white sofa while a big screen played out a presentation
Two things that stood out as strange to me was how I was aware of it being a dream and yet I wasn't able to control it like how a lucid state allows.

By becoming aware of these beings and actively promoting positive collective consciousness, they have freed themselves from the harm caused by negative feeding entities. They urge our society to become aware of thoughtforms and restructure our way of life to foster equality and a sense of belonging for all
In their pursuit of equality and belonging, they have implemented a strange system of temporary identities. People can choose specific roles within society, such as a fish farmer caring for an elderly father. They join host families that treat them no differently than any other adopter. To preserve anonymity, and ensure unbiased treatment individuals wear masks and full-body suits for their role. The outfit is the same for every participant who adopts the role. They can switch roles indefinitely, exploring different lives or settle into one they created for themselves. After death, they pass on the identity they created for others. This system has proven instrumental in achieving self-actualization.
Furthermore, their architecture fosters community and social interaction. Park tables, for example, feature small lights that individuals can change the color of to signal their openness to conversation. Apartments have built-in private networks that allow residents to chat with neighbors on the same floor or in the same building etc
In summary, their religion emphasizes the pursuit of happiness, self-actualization, and a sense of belonging. By understanding the presence of thoughtforms and embracing temporary identities, along with fostering social interaction through thoughtful architectural design, they found a way to enhanced their collective thoughtform
This was very vital for them to achieve. They say that just how our body's cells don't understand why they cut or recieve less nutrition sometimes, we have good and bad experiences at seemingly random patterns because of their egregores. By concentrating on feeding the positive energy beings they managed to virtually purge suffering from their failt lives.
This is absolutely bizarre to me but I had to share it to get it off my chest. Another interesting part was about how their economy is designed to achieve equality, less-waste and encourage innovation
They have a system that can be visualized as a pyramid of cards rather than the traditional trickle-down economy. The pyramid represents the structure of wealth distribution, ensuring that no class disproportionately grows over others. To explain this concept, let's consider a lemonade stand as an example.

Instead, people get to vote on the appropriate ratio for different skillsets. The government's role is to safeguard the system and provide public surveillance of the bank's activities. Innovation and education are highly valued, with scientists, educators, and engineers receiving the highest salaries and belonging to the top layer of the pyramid. They are paid in an exclusive currency that is priced at three times the standard currency
While the private sector has full control over means of production, raw resources have shared control between the private and government sectors. For instance, if a company discovers a copper mine and develops an effective extraction/purification method, they receive a fixed percentage of the profit, while the government sets a fair price for the resources based on extraction costs. People can buy these resources and use private sector machinery and blueprints to create items of their choice.
There are machinery and blueprints available to the general public for free, but they are limited to basic designs necessary for survival. This restriction prevents exploitation during emergencies. Businesses, therefore, focus on innovation and improving designs, ideas, patents, and machinery to produce items more effectively.
Their system has a strict made-to-order process for purchasing items, reducing environmental damage from unsold goods. Only perishable items like food, vital medicines and digital-goods are allowed to have surplus quantities. If a food item nears its expiration date, it would be offered at an extremely low price rather than being disposed off. This discourages businesses from over farming
Additionally supermarkets don't use packaging to sell food. To minimize harm to the environment, they bring in their own reusable containers to fill up from their product of choice, which is stored in large containers within the shop. Weight/volume determines the cost
In politics they don't have a party system and prefer direct democracy over representative democracy because they see the existence of a middle-man as a doorway for corruption. Their people get to vote on individual issues just like what happens in Switzerland. One difference is that they're required to do a lot more than simply tick yes or no. They believe that education is a vital part of successful democracy, therefore the voter has to write a short essay weighing the pros and cons behind their decision to demonstrate that they've learned enough before making a decision
The consequence of this system is that it takes very long to collect and process votes (It's done by AI which also has it's process live-streamed) The person is required to write it while at the voting center (to prevent copy-pastes) The booth provides them with a PC which has all the gathered points and research supporting each side of the decision.
To reduce the time it takes to submit and process votes, they prioritise those who are most affected by a decision. For example if it's about women's reproductive health then only women can vote. The rest of the population can still participate by adding to the information stockpile for the voting booth. Another example is when it comes to war, only those who are enlisted are allowed to vote in favour of it to discourage an eagerness for violence
Just like the bank system the government is also unstaffed. There is only an AI controlling humanoid drones to complete tasks. It's also publicly surveyed (I find it interesting how the government is watched by people rather than the other way around) they also have a randomly selected maintenance team to work on the program running it. They're taken to work immediately to prevent anyone from bribing them. Even more public surveillance goes into their work
There is lots more finer details about their society but I unfortunately forgot it after years passed. I might remember more with time but this post already got ridiculously long. After the dream ended I juwoke up home and was in a cold sweat because of how bizarrely detailed it was. My dreams are usually random junk that I forget completely the instant I wake up

The Biden campaign celeibates, on the other hand Trump of course denies the legitimacy of the election. The subsequent occupations and protests at election centers by Trump supporters, as well as a varriety of low level officials holding up the certification process in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia, holds up the certification of the elections for months On July 23, 2026 Kamala Harris is sworn in as President becoming the first female US. President following Biden's sudden forced resignation following greatly increasing questions about his health.

Starfire: Pupils, or no pupils?
For those just joining us, in the New Teen Titans, the series that the cartoon was based on, George Pérez, God rest his sole, designed her with solid green eyes. The tv show gave her pupils. I've noticed that most modern drawings of the Kori, particularly her last solo series (is that still going on? I don't keep up with these things, I'm sorry), seem to have modeled her of her cartoon look, including giving her pupils.
My question is what does any of you perfer? Me, I kind of like her without them. I know why they gave them to her; they were going for a cute, badass baby doll look, and it was important for her being expressive. Honestly cartoon Star would've looked awful with blank, green eyes.
But I like the idea of Starfire looking extraordinary, more alien. She's beautiful, sensual, but there's this subtle macabre detail that makes you realize that she's not just a chick in orange body-paint.
I also, getting into personal reasons now, like the challenge of creating a character lacking that essential part of the human face, but still being able to successfully visually communicate intent without them. Like, I have a superhero concept about a Spider-Man inspired character with a face that covers most, if not his entire face, but he also is mute. Can you imagine how difficult but rewarding it was to know what he's thinking with the subtlist of drawings... a better comparison, because it well actually exists, would be Jack Skellington. He's got this beautifully animated face, and an expressive, mobile brow... but he's got no eyes. Because of course he doesn't. He's a skull. There's nothing in there.
I just like to know what you all think, do you like her without pupils? If so or not so, how come?

  • Urick first PCR: Before Asia called him, he didn't know about the PCR motion. She was concerned if she had to come out here. I explained to her, I was not her attorney. But I told her that she would have to be served. And if she was served, and if they made the proper arrangements, she would have to show up.
  • Serial, Episode 1: Asia's fiancé comes to the door, opens it part way, tells the investigator that she cannot speak to Asia, but that from what he knows of Adnan's case, Adnan is guilty and deserved the punishment he got.
  • Rabia: Adnan’s PI returns with terrible news. Asia won’t testify. The PI never spoke to her, but her fiance made it very clear, in a very nasty way that suggested an anti-Muslim prejudice, that Asia would not be involved and to leave them alone . . . Faced with a tough decision, [Justin Brown] decides to submit [Asia's] letters but not subpeona her for the appeal hearing.
  • Asia Affidavit: In the late spring of 2010, I learned that the Syed defense team was attempting to contact me. I was initially caught off guard by this and did not talk to them.
  • 2016 PCR: Asia testified that her husband met the PI outside, then came inside and told her he thought it was about that girl that got killed. Locke was born a daughter to a family of scholars and sorcerers. Magic for the family was a way of life; they were all born with it in their veins. Her birth wasn't flawless by any means, and she emerged with a deformed leg and eyes that didn't work right. Of more concern to her parents, her magic was not ingrained in her being.
Still, their love for her was great. She was raised in relative decadence, though her family was not the richest of the rich. Throughout her life, she studied the arcane arts, hoping to exceed expectations in all regards. For what it's worth, she did in one way: at a young age, her empathic abilities were discovered.
This brought some minor fame to the family, and a great deal of other scholars. She really just wanted to study in peace, but a dozen court wizards would not have it so. Eager to see if her power would grow, they gave her a scholarship to a renowned magic academy.
Or at least, that's what they told her. In truth, her family had been making behind-the-back payments to the Archmage of the college. This secret was discovered, then outed, and then she had no scholarship and a rather large debt to pay off. To prevent her family's ruin, she now adventures across the world, hoping to see more sights and… okay, she's just here for the money.

I've been drawing for about 3 or 4 years, initially just as a way to pass the time in class, but then I got a drawing tablet and started taking stuff way more seriously. I saw that i could become a genuinely good artist and i worked towards it. I ended up making a lot of things that i'm proud of, albeit inconsistently, but I have made cool stuff. I've even earned money off commissions and spent it on stuff I need. Art has quickly become my life. But part of me seems to be in love with it, and another part of me seems to hate it and all my attempts at it.
Nowadays I've based literally my entire identity on art and the process of creation. I even dropped out of school to fully commit to a career in music. I feel like if i'm not improving I'm stagnant and people often tell me to "remember why I started drawing or "remind yourself why you like drawing". The truth is I don't know. I've always had issues with drawing linearts for things. Maybe I'm still more of a beginner artist given how seldom I actually draw something. Nevertheless, I struggle with things like the shape of the eyes and position of the mouth and eyes in relation to the sides of the head and to eachother. Other things like posing and what not are easier. They just take time as I'm not sure how to do it usually. I tend to just go for it and hope it looks good and it usually looks fine. But can't quite get it right usually. How long does it take to get to the point where you can draw art that can be passed off as decent?
All i really struggle to make proper curves as well; such as the jawline or neck. Another difficult one is the feet or hands, but those tend to come more with experience.
The main issue is that my lines are shaky even with pen stabilization. I fine that having leeway for my arm to move freely helps, because swift and smooth strokes make much straighter lines. However, it's very difficult to make them line up with eachother. For example, making the cheek meet at the base of the ear, or making the chin aligned with the mouth and both sides of the face.
What can I do to improve on these things? Or is it as simple as painful, excrutiating, dissapointing and unfulfilling repetition for excessive amounts of time?
Is it all in experience? Or am I doing something wrong?
I understand most drawings take between 5 and 10 hours. But I may be wrong on that. I'm tired of just sitting there and being unable to make something line up or be proportionate with everything else.
I'm better with pencil on paper but I've moved to digital recently, which is a lot newer to me and is the place where most issues are presenting themselves. I'm using the free version of Ibis Paint X on a Samsung tablet.
