2022.09.21 21:05 De_Nor Faroese football fixtures

Hello,
I'm visiting the Faroe Islands next week (27 sept - 4 oct), for the first time in my life. Excited as hell. Being a huge football fan (and groundhopper), I'd like to visit a couple of matches. On websites like Futbol24 I found the fixtures for the top two divisions, but all with generic times listed as kick-off times. When I look at the matches played in the last month, usually there's a wide variety of kick-off times.
Does anyone know where I could find up-to-date information on when these matches will be played? The website of the Faroese football organisation doesn't list the times either (or not as of yet).
Thanks

Zuri Benitez has pride. Brooklyn pride, family pride, and pride in her Afro-Latino roots. But pride might not be enough to save her rapidly gentrifying neighborhood from becoming unrecognizable.
When the wealthy Darcy family moves in across the street, Zuri wants nothing to do with their two teenage sons, even as her older sister, Janae, starts to fall for the charming Ainsley. She especially can’t stand the judgmental and arrogant Darius. Yet as Zuri and Darius are forced to find common ground, their initial dislike shifts into an unexpected understanding.
But with four wild sisters pulling her in different directions, cute boy Warren vying for her attention, and college applications hovering on the horizon, Zuri fights to find her place in Bushwick’s changing landscape, or lose it all.

2018.07.12 20:19 mostmodest- Scores get converted into dates when pasted. Need a formula to convert them back to scores.

I'm trying to collect data from this site.
When I copy paste the scores into Excel some of them turn into dates. What formula can I use to convert them back to the correct numbers?
For some games a simple left() or right() works but not the ones that show up as a date.
Bonus: Cell A has the dates one cell over the games and then the time of the game under those. I don't need the times. How can I get the correct date to appear for every game without copy/pasting manually?
On the left side of this screenshot is how the data looks when I past it and starting from column H is how I want it to look.

2017.11.29 11:35 RS-Ryski96 Stats website?

Is Futbol24 one of the better sites for looking at Over match goals? Timings of goals, recent results etc? I've been using that a lot lately to help with my In-Play tips etc? Just want to know if there are any better sites out there what could help me?

2017.10.01 20:11 kvltrve Challenge finding scores of Outbound leagues

If you're betting on a game, for example vard haugesund u19 vs sandnes ulf 19, and you're having a hard time finding the final score anywhere on the web, is there any good website that shows them all immediatly when it ends? because it's a never ending problem for me, trying to google it here and there and even the game ended hours ago, all the first suggestions showing no info, like the game didn't start yet. some sites use to show the scores before others, like futbol24, soccerway or nscores, but that's occasionaly.

2017.03.01 01:16 Apala70 Over Goals In Relation To Penalties Second Half

I was following some of the scores on futbol24 the other day and noticed that so many matches there will be a goal in the second half that will follow on from a penalty prior.
So I decided to start putting bets on over goals in relation to penalties in matches and the profit is good, very good.
For example today I had a bet on a Singapore match Balestier Khalsa v Warriors FC. The home side were winning at H/T 1-0 but then the away team gets a penalty around the 49th minute for 1-1. No more goals are scored for a period of the second half. This is when you look to bet on a goal being scored following on from a penalty goal previously. You usually have to wait around the 70th minute for a predicted low scoring match or nearer to the 80th minute for a higher predicted scoring match to get a price of 2.00 for there to be another goal in the match. So you put the bet on in the 70th or 80th minute depending on the game for another goal to be scored but where the really nice profit can come in using this system is doubling up your bet. This means if there has still not been a goal scored on your first bet you wait until you see a price of 4.00 for another goal to be scored in the match. You will see a price of 4.00 usually from around the 85th minute for one more goal and you put another bet on that. The away side Warriors then proceed to score the winning goal in the 88th minute. You then have two winning bets with excellent profit. If any side had scored another goal previous to the price of 4.00 shown for next goal then obviously you would take the single bet win of 2.00 and be done with that. What seems so far less regular with this bet is that two of your bets go down.
So the next match I see today that fits this system was a AFC Champions League match between Zob Ahan v Al Ahli. The score at half time was 1-1 last goal in the half being a penalty. You then as previously bet on another goal to be scored following on from the penalty. Ah Ahli scored the winning goal in the 86th minute. Again I had two winning bets of over goals of price of 2.00 plus the later bet of over goals at price of 4.00.
I didn't bet on these matches later in the day unfortunately as I didn't have time but if you had followed this system again you would have had excellent profit on the Estoril v Benfica, Sol de Mayo Argentine Cup match, Margate v Chelmsford, Cambridge v Doncaster, Brighton v Newcastle, Salernitana v SPAL, Pro Vercelli v Avellino, Real Sociedad v Eibar matches. Just as good I didn't see any matches where you would have lost your bets.
Patience does need to be shown as you will find games where a penalty has been scored and the next goal will follow on too early and you can't see a decent price to bet on and then have to wait again for the next opportunity. Also I have followed certain criteria on top of the system to narrow the bets down. I have noticed that quite a few matches there will be just one penalty goal in the match following on from a scoreless first half. So no bets are placed on matches that are 0-0 at H/T. Also will only bet on a last goal being scored following on from a penalty no later than the 80th minute. No bets after the 80th minute. And one last criteria is I will not bet on a match where a penalty has been missed.
Take a look yourselves at the results of the last few days and you will see that this system will regularly and consistently give you excellent profit.

2016.11.20 23:23 James_Rykker [LORE] La Liga Venezolana

Seeing the excitement that the World Cup has caused in his country President Lopez has decided to personally sponsor the return of La Liga Venezolana. The government had set aside 40 million dollars for athletic projects and all of this money will go towards the return of the league. Before the flooding LLV hadn't been anywhere close to a powerhouse on the world stage however, Lopez hopes that it can develop into one of the premium leagues in the world this time around. The league will consist of 8 teams, each will have a 23 man roster. Each team will face each other twice throughout the course of the season. 3 points will be given for a win, 1 for a tie, and 0 for a loss. At the end of the season the top 4 teams will be put into a bracket. Winners will advance into the finals where the remaining two teams will play a final game to determine the champion. The rosters of each team will be decided through a draft. The draft is set to take place after the World Cup so as to allow teams to scout players.
The commissioner of the league will be current National Team manager Lucas Agustin.

a I've included the two seasons played by 'Western Suburbs SC' in APIA's stats, because it's my understanding that the two clubs merged, allowing APIA to join the NSL. b Now competes as 'Spirit FC' in the NSW NPL2. Technically a phoenix club, not a continuation of the original. c While Footscray JUST themselves are generally considered defunct, it's my understanding that they were acquired by Melbourne City (not the Melbourne City, the other one of the same name that plays in the Victorian 5th tier), so they could be considered to have merged into the other club. d Parramatta Power, Carlton Blues, Penrith City, and Collingwood Warriors were created and owned by Parramatta Eels, Carlton, Collingwood, and Penrith Panthers respectively. So you could say they still exist, just not as football clubs e Technically is a phoenix club, not the original club
Note: adjustments made as necessary; some of the early NSL seasons used the 2 points for a win system, and there was that one NSL season we like to forget. Those seasons have been converted to use the standard 3 points for a win system, for comparison purposes.
  • We often talk about the Roar squad of 10/11 as being the greatest ever. However, once we include the NSL, they are only tied for 6th greatest using the PPG metric. South Melbourne have bested them twice (92/93, and 00/01), Hakoah once (1985), and the Glory twice (01/02, and 03/04). It's that Glory squad from the final year of the NSL that holds the record, averaging 2.375 points per game.
  • In a related statistic, the best squad to fail to win, once the NSL is included, matched Roar's 2.167 benchmark, namely Adelaide City in 94/95 (who finished behind the Melbourne Knights on goal difference
  • Even when you include the NSL, the inaugural Knights squad is still the worst of all time. The Mariners do rise to 3rd worst, however, with them doing better than the 96/97 Canberra Cosmos squad.
  • Once the NSL is included, the Wolves hold the record for most goals in a season, with 80 in the 00/01 season. Like City last year, though, they failed to win the league, with their defence letting them down and allowing South Melbourne to finish on top. Long live the glass cannons, they provide so much entertainment :P
  • The Mariners are relieved of the opposite record as well, thanks to the Newcastle Breakers conceding 77 goals in 95/96
  • Yes, I shit you not, the Bankstown Berries did actually play in the top tier of Australian football once. I was shocked too.
  • Because I know these stats, it always amuses me when Wanderers fans call us 'ESFC', because they're basically saying we're the best club in Australian history. We da best.
Mods: just a few flair requests - Gold Coast United, Hakoah, Heidelberg, St George, West Adelaide, Parramatta, Sunshine George Cross, Adamstown Rosebud, Bankstown Berries, Wollongong United, and Northern Spirit/Spirit FC pls. Also, an update for the Redlands United flair pls. Alternatively, I could do it if I was made a mod. I study Computer Science, I could be useful /s ;)

2016.01.24 14:26 AlexBets In Plays

I've been a long time lurker and I'm quite experienced at betting now. I've found that often In-plays are more profitable then pre-game tips as you can get an insight.
For ages I've been searching for a site to use for inplays, especially on weekends to filter out the "non-profitable" games to bet on.
I've found sites like futbol24.com and soccerway.com good to research from and inplaytrading.com to filter SOME matches.
Does anyone know some other hidden sites to use OR could possibly work on creating one?

2015.12.01 16:27 Charge0781 After deciding to only move forward with 1 £5 deposit, I'm quite proud of myself!

Previous to this last week, I've bet sporadically, winning and losing and everything inbetween. I decided to only put in £5 and see where I could get with it, only making small 1.1-1.5 bets. I would always bet on something I was usually certain on (Winning Team if already winning, over 0.5 goals) and make small gains that accumulated over time. I would then deposit once I'm £5 over my original £5 that's left in my Bet365 account. I usually check futbol24 for previous meetings, how many goals scored, and how they're doing in their local league. I always usually bet in-play, although i do bet otherwise sometimes.
After a week, this is where I am - http://i.imgur.com/ISvhHMf.png
And here are all my bets (check Sheet 2) - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ccqyPjycMbbuDgs9u1owU3G-fzemuFI3NKLHLTi8Opo/edit?usp=sharing
I've made over 150 bets, winning 120 of them, at a percentage of 77%.
It's not a lot, and it's not amazing, but it's sustainable and I'm hoping once I level out on what bets to make and where, I'll start to up the original stake and/or make larger bets.
Thanks!

2015.06.21 15:09 slicslack Relatively unknown teams in the spotlight #13: C.S. Maritimo

You can find all the previous posts neatly organized here
Vote here for the next entry
Welcome back to Small teams Relatively unknown teams in the spotlight! A series of posts where football clubs that don’t get much exposure get their well-deserved spot in the limelight. I've changed the name because of the condescending nature of the term small. Even though I explained multiple times that I didn't mean the term condescendingly, I find that 'relatively unknown' is a much better and more neutral term. Enjoy the read!
The club I want to bring to your attention is Club Sport Maritimo. They play in the Primera Liga, the Portuguese first division. With only 6 flair-users they're the least represented team in this series so far. Maritimo hail from the city of Funchal, which is the largest city and capital of the autonomous region of Madeira. Madeira is an island close to the Canary Islands, a couple hundred kilometers from the Morrocan coast. The flight to mainland Portugal is about 2 hours, which makes their history all the more impressive.
History
Maritimo was founded in 1910. The club adopted the red and green colours of the new [Republican flag of Portugal]()http://zhenghe.tripod.com/flags/big/portugal.jpg to distinguish themselves from rivals Club Sports da Madeira, who used the blue and white colours of the old monarchy flag which had been replaced 15 days earlier. The name Marítimo, meaning Maritime in English, was used to reflect the fact that many of the team's players were workers of the nearby Funchal docks, a prominent employer at the time. Their first match ever was played against British sailors. In the 1921/1922 season, a new national competition was formed - the Campeonato de Portugal. It was a knock-out tournament based on who won their regional division. Maritimo won their first Campeonato in 1926. After beating Porto 7-1 in the semi-final, they defeated Os Belenenses in the final with 2-0.
When the Primera Liga was founded in the early 1930s, teams from outside the mainland were excluded from the competition. During this period, Maritimo absolutely dominated regional football on the Maritimo island. They won 35 titles between 1916 and 1973. It wasn't until 1972/1973 that they were allowed to finally participate in the national division. The consequences of long years without being able to compete regularly in national competitions were visible in the beginning. The fact that the island was not able to put teams in national competitions show the discrepancies in terms of infrastructures and organization between the regional and national leagues. They jo-jo'd between first and second divison a lot in their first 10 years, but haven't been relegated since 1983. Maritimo first managed to qualify for European football in the 1992/1993 season and they reached the Cup final in 1994/1995 for the first time. The best ever league finish was 5th place obtain in 1992–93, and since then they had finish another five times in that position. Also Marítimo in the recent years is often seen in the European competitions, and they recently their eighth appearance in the Uefa Cup/Europa League. In the 2004-2005 UEFA Cup, they beat Glasgow Rangers at home, only to lose in a penalty shootout at the Ibrox. In the 2012/2013 season, Marítimo managed to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League for the first time. They drew Newcastle twice during this season, but it can't really be called a noteworthy feat to not lose to Newcastle these days. They ended the current season (14/15) on a respectable 9th place.
The club was used a political vehicle in the 1970s during Madeira's fight for freedom and autonomy from mainland Portugal. Governor Jardim proclaimed his support of the club in order to gain votes and the backing from the people of Madeira, while the people in turn supported Marítimo as a symbol of their pride and allegiance to Madeira.
Supporters
The club has a proud reputation of being one of the most supported clubs in Portugal after the "big three", and the most popular club on their home island of Madeira, outranking local rivals Nacional and União. The club has over 9,000 registered members and two predominant groups of Ultras, the Esquadrão Maritimista and the Ultras Templários, the bigger and more infamous of the two.
Cliche fan compliation, including AC/DC soundtrack Fans singing against FC Porto 100 years of Maritimo
I couldn't find many fan videos/atmosphere videos, so any links are welcome!
Rivalries
Marítimo's main local rivals are Nacional, although there is also plenty of ill-feeling towards minnows União, who became in the last years the "third club of Madeira" after the aforementioned. The Madeira derby between Marítimo and Nacional is often associated with the clubs followers' differing culture and way of life. The fans of Nacional, being of a higher socio-economic status than those of Marítimo, are mainly lobbyists for the commercial expansion of Madeira, while the followers of Maritimo are usually of the working class. This only exacerbates the ill-feeling between the clubs, which is made even more tense by the fact that controversial regional governor Alberto João Jardim has used Marítimo as a political vehicle and to gain public popularity.
The rivalry heightened in the mid-1990s when Jardim proposed a plan to unite Madeira's three main clubs, who at the time were all competing in the top division. Nacional and União both pledged their support for the scheme, in a bid for Madeira to realistically contend with the "big three" for the league title; however, Marítimo's fans rejected the idea in mass numbers, stamping their superiority on Madeira's footballing scene.
Again, I can't find any videos on the rivalry. Any additional info is welcomed!
Stadium
Maritimo play their matches at the Estadio dos Barreiros, which doesn't look too great. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000, but there is a new stadium in the works. The attendances of Marítimo's home games have been on a steady decline since the late 1990s, with the average attendance filling just half of the stadium's capacity in recent seasons.
Former or current notable players
Képler Laveran Lima Ferreira, more commonly known as 'that Madrid cunt, Pepe' played 63 matches for Maritimo between 2002 and 2004. He later went on to play 195 matches for Real Madrid and has been a starter for a long time now. He's also had 65 caps with the national team, despite being born a Brazilian.
Daniel Miguel Alves Gomes, better known as Danny played for Maritimo in 2001-2002 and 2003-2004 before moving to Porto, Sporting Portugal, Dinamo Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg. He was born a Venezuelan but has 32 caps with Portugal.
Kaj Ramsteijn Yes, this guy deserves to be named alongside Pepe and Danny. Ramsteijn, who currently has a grand total of 0 caps for Maritimo, was once a great youth prospect for my club, Feyenoord. I was entirely surprised to see him in the current players list and had no idea he was at Maritimo. I always thought he would be the next Ron Vlaar, but never lived up to the hype and went to Sparta. Hope to see him do well for Maritimo, but I have absolutely no clue how he's doing there.
That's it for this weeks article, thank you for reading! It was quite difficult finding English sources on Maritimo, and my Portuguese is a little rusty. If any Portuguese native has any other intersting information to share, please do!

2015.05.07 15:27 plenipotentiary Football next weekend in Beirut - where & when are the games?

Hi all,
I'm coming to Lebanon on vacation next week and would love to take in a football game on the weekend of 5/16-5/17, which I believe is the last weekend of the football season.
I've been doing research on the matches, and would like to know if anyone can check the information I got from English sports sites against the Lebanese Premier League official site which I unfortunately cannot read :(. There's also the league's Facebook and Twitter (both only in Arabic)
5/16: Al-Ahed vs. Al-Ansar at Beirut Municipal Stadium at 14:30 local time
5/17: Nejmeh SC vs. Safa at Camille Chamoun Sports City at 14:30 local time
Is this correct? I would hate to miss out on a game by going to the wrong stadium! Also, would one match be better than the other in terms of quality?
Thanks in advance for your help! This community has been an invaluable read while gearing up for this trip. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
