I was going through some pictures I took of a 1997 Rangers program my Grandpa had. I was born in 1998, and I’ve been a Rangers fan for as long as I can remember, so seeing these pictures of the ballpark are absolutely incredible. Some interesting things I noticed.
First picture- the prices! Wow! I remember hearing my grandpa complain about how Arlington Stadium was cheaper. To be fair, this was the 90’s, but for a park that nice, a winning team, and all the better conveniences that BPiA had, that doesn’t seem too bad.
Second picture- I think Lorenzo De Zavala lot definitely sounds better than “Generic Toyota Model lot”. Also, I definitely remember the youth ballpark, may it rest in peace. But I have no memory of the amphitheater. Anyone remember that?
Third picture- If I remember correctly, that picnic grounds is where the new park is, right? My grandparents used to pack sandwiches and we’d eat at the pavilion before the games. Kinda made me sad to see them go, even as much as I love the new park.
Fourth picture- That was a fauxback for a 1940’s themed game. I don’t know why, but I love that uniform. Would make a great Saturday alternate.
Fifth picture- the programs my grandpa had. I took these pictures in 2019, so I’d have to go through them again. Would anybody be interested in seeing more of what’s in them?
As much as I love the new park, I would go to 20-50 games a year at BPiA. The evenings I spent with my friends and family, the fun I had, all of that, I can never forget. How it felt to skip school for a day game. I’m happy they haven’t torn it down, but to see the renovations they did for football just honestly breaks my heart.

2023.06.10 02:55 Adventurous-Music316 Administrator and OOBE setting issues

Hi all, so I’ve had some Admin issues on me pc. I have tried nearly everything and am desperate to fix it. I have the only account on the pc, it is my home, personal pc. It also says that I have admin privileges when I look in setting or use cmd prompt, it says I already have admin privileges. I don’t though, when I go to delete and files in the Acer drive, it says I need admin permission, along with downloading and files now (mainly games and whatnot). This means I barely have any space left on the Acer driver but I can’t delete any of it or use my pc for essentially anything. When I go to log in as well, there is another account called “Administrator” but, when I go through setting it up, it’s says “oobe settings, something went wrong.” I have tried everything to fix that as well and nothing has worked so far. I am really desperate to fix my pc and don’t know what is wrong!

Don’t really know what to make of it.
I saw her two weeks ago on my bus home. I sat opposite her and I immediately recognised her. I know she recognised me too because we were friends before high school. She’d been to my house for a birth day party before. I wanted to say hello, but the bus was crowded and I couldn’t bring myself to do it because I’m under the impression she doesn’t like me now.
It’s typical. We started high school and she became popular and I didn’t. We were alright with each other and then one day she started treating me like I was shit. I was standing in the lunch queue and she saw me and started whispering to her friend while staring at me. I decided I didn’t care but inside I was hurt.
In my dream last night we were sat opposite each other at a dinner table. I remember I just saw her and hugged her, and I told her how I’d missed her. And she apologised to me for how she’d been and told me it was because of the social pressures of school. I’ve been thinking about her all day since I woke up and I wish I could reach out to her now.

I just upgraded my stylus, and I’m looking for a mat with less static. I have a PS-LX310BT, I know it isn’t great but it’s the best I have right now. The felt stock mat I have is fine but static gets really bad sometimes. I use a brush, but it doesn’t seem to help with all methods tried. (Not bending the bristles, touching the center spoke, etc..).
I’d like to upgrade to an acrylic or heavy rubber mat, but I’m wondering if because I have a cheap belt drive turntable that the weight of the mat would affect the speed. Anything to be concerned about there or am I overthinking this?

I’m house sitting directly east of John mclaren park and see lots of tempting restaurants on the map like in the Bret Harte / Bayview area - craftsman and wolves den, smokin’ warehouse bbq, etc - I’ve never really spent time in this neighborhood but when I was younger it was described as really dangerous. Is it sufficiently safe that it’d be pretty chill to walk from John Mclaren Park to those restaurants or South Beach/north shore Yosemite slough?

I (24 M)met my ex (23 F) today for the first time in a year more or less; it was an interesting experience. I’m happy for her that she’s doing better in her life and moving steady with her new boyfriend. I told her how I felt about her still and while I won’t push anything but I still believe us to be soul mates. She made it clear it will never happen anytime soon or later down the line. I remain optimistic but also told her I’m also not gonna add any pressure to make it happen. I just wanted to see her and catch-up nothing more or nothing less. It really felt like old times, we laughed and made fun of certain things we had inside jokes for, we even drank a couple seagrams! Our break up was very messy and at very low points in our life when we dated so nothing went well when it came to arguments or even being there emotionally for each other. That has made our history that much more interesting and complicated, she is weirdly an extension of myself or vice versa. Seeing her again really made my day, to see her finally grow past a lot of her issues and finally living the best life she can. It hurts I can’t add to that journey but if she were to stop talking to me I’d be so happy knowing we finally made amends and acted like friends just one last time. I can only hope for the best moving forward in my own life and if I’m lucky our paths may cross again someday. If not at least I can say I had the pleasure and experience of knowing her.
One day at a time.
TL;DR: I met my ex and we really hit it off and while I’m uncertain that encounter will change anything im very grateful to finally connect and make amends again!

I need help on whether I’d qualify for a first class medical
OK! I want to get a 1st class medical to be an airline pilot. But I faint. I think I was diagnosed with dysautonomia, but I’m not sure. I’ve had this issue for a while, to me it seems like a clear vasovagal syncope.
But anyway I’m 16 yo and I have fainted 5 times. I have an explanation for ALL of them… except for 1

I got my fingers crushed
I was in too hot of water for too long
I was running around outside in the heat way too hard
I was in class and had a really bad sickness, so I wasn’t drinking enough water and fainted
Idk what happened I was just in class and fainted (this was when I was like 8 or 9)

I’ve had an ekg and it was all good, but it was a long time ago. (Probably after the “5.” incident when I was 8 or 9)
The last time it happened was 2 or 3 years ago
Here’s what I got from the faa website
The applicant should describe the event(s) to determine the primary organ system responsible for the episode, witness statements, initial treatment, and evidence of recurrence or prior episode. Although the regulation states, "an unexplained disturbance of consciousness is disqualifying," it does not mean to imply that the applicant can be certificated if the etiology is identified, because the etiology may also be disqualifying in and of itself.
And this:
An unexplained disturbance of consciousness is disqualifying under the medical standards. Because a disturbance of consciousness may be expected to be totally incapacitating, individuals with such histories pose a high risk to safety and must be denied or deferred by the Examiner. If the cause of the disturbance is explained and a loss of consciousness is not likely to recur, then medical certification may be possible
I still don’t really know what these means because they sound like they contradict each other. So do you think I would be ok or not? I also don’t know if I actually have a problem or if I just got really unlucky with this happening to me so many times. Thank you!

2023.06.10 02:54 MaukatoMakai Went to Carmine Lonardos today after seeing them on this sub. Sandwiches were really good.

We ate too quick I forgot to get a picture lol. Ordered a 12” Carmines Italian combo with lettuce & tomato, 8” Dominic’s old school combo with lettuce & tomato, and 8” Italian sausage
The bread reminded me of the bread we’d get in Philly with cheesesteaks, chewy and soft but holds its shape. It got a bit soggy in parts on the Italian sausage since I didn’t eat it right away. The cold cut meat was delicious, tasted like quality (imported?) meat. The sauce that the Italian sausage was in was flavorful and rich.
I would go back just to buy the baguette and meat by the pound so I could make it a bit more loaded lol. Might also try some of the premade sausage they have and the imported pastas/cheeses, if anyone has recommendations! I only went there because of this sub and it was a good one.

I feel like I am sad for no reason.
I am a 27 year old girl, who thought after getting a ok paying job I’d be happier, but I am not.
I have it really good, my bf and I live together. We both work most of the day. I work from home, my job is great and I don’t do much and make good money.
My bf and I are house hunting.
However it feels that ever since I started this job, I’ve lost control of my time. I have a hard time getting up, I sometimes have to shower or clean on my break.
I think my issue is that I don’t know how to manage my time efficiently. My apt is a mess most of the time, I struggle getting up, I am always working on time but barely, by the time I get off work I am absolutely emotionally drained.
I don’t know why I don’t find happiness in the things I used to. I am not excited about anything.
My partner is on the same boat as me.
I don’t think my relationship has anything to do with this, we’ve been together for 8 years and we love each other. (Even though we are working on making time for us)
Am I broken?
I feel lost.
But life is good and idk why I feel like this. My problems are so minuscule compared to others.
What is going on?
