I have written many orchestra pieces and there are many instances where I have two different dynamics playing at the same time for one instrument group. For example, the Trumpets, I generally write for two trumpet voices. There are times when I have 1 trumpet voice (and I use voice here in the sense that one voice can mean multiple trumpets in unison/divisi, or a single trumpet) playing fortissimo and the second voice playing mezzoforte.
It would be extremely helpful if someone knew a way to notate this correctly because I do this pretty often and sometimes I may have one or more other instrument groups doing this at the same time. Most of my pieces are for full orchestra so there are already gonna be plenty of staves on the score and I dont want to have to double a bunch of the staves in order to accommodate 2 different dynamics on an individual instrument group. (I want to avoid having 2 staves for 1st violins, 2 more for oboes, another 2 for trumpets, etc) I want to avoid having a thousand staves on a single orchestral score. I make my music compositions/arrangements on computer software so its easy to pull of 2 dynamics on one track, but how in music notation? Even if its not possible on notation software like Sibelius cause It seems like it may not be possible to get correct playback for 2 dynamics on one staff within that software. As long as there's a standard way to do it in actual music notation because the music will most likely eventually get sent to and played by a live orchestra in the future.

We started our day by getting some coffee, then we went yard selling. While doing this we picked up a hitch-hiker. Then another friend said his dad was arrested, and his dads cat was trapped inside his house. So we broke into his dads house (with his dads permission) and got the cat somewhere safe. Then we gave another hitch-hiker a ride. Then we saw a lady broken down on the side of the road, and we changed her tire for her. Then we saw a friend we know trying to start his truck by popping the clutch, so we all got out and helped him push. Then while yard selling, we bought a bunch of furniture for a friend that is moving out of his parents place. Then another friend had a screaming match with his dad so he joined us for the day. Then their was this lady with a baby at the gas station crying, we asked if she was Ok, and she said she was below E and didn't have any money to fill up, so we gave her $100. She hugged us :). Then we went to the movies and their was a dad with his three kids getting tickets/snacks and they could only afford the tickets so kids were sad, so when the movie started we gave them all the candy we smuggled in.
So yeah, I'm just laying here thinking about our day, and not understanding why our parents don't trust us. Its like pulling teeth to convince them we aren't doing drugs and having an orgy or vandalizing property. Its really enervating.

Hello! My name is Blake and my and I roommate are looking for a person to fill in our empty room in Eureka. We are both 19 and attending Cal Poly Humboldt and like to play video games, explore the outdoors, and have a good time. Yesterday I was at my local liquor store buying alcohol for myself. However, the clerk wouldn’t sell to me as they accused me of buying alcohol for minors. They thought this as my friend (whom is also 22 went to the gas station while her younger sister and her friend sat in the car).
They accused me and said I am lucky they didn’t call the cops. I was highly embarrassed as they slightly made a scene in the store despite me explaining the scenario. They said if I wasn’t buying for minors to bring them all in with proper ID which I couldn’t as the sibling and friend are 18.
I left the shop and was super embarrassed and anxious about the whole situation. I suffer from social anxiety along with generalized anxiety and keep replaying the instance and the embarrassment I felt. I feel as if I can’t go back into the store as they will recognize me and possibly make a scene again.
Any advice on getting over embarrassing moments and how long before you think I can return to the shop without them remembering me or commenting?

1.) Wife’s vehicle hit and run while at gymnastics with our two kids (no suspects caught, no footage of incident)
2.) Truck broken into all tools stolen (no recovery, cops didn’t even come to investigate or follow up on the “online police report”) Insurance company not wanting to reimburse me because I don’t have photos of my tools and I don’t have receipts (never mentioned that when they sold me the policy)!
3.) Truck hit and run while at work, upstanding citizen saw it and recorded license plate number and vehicle make (suspect caught by police with information provided, suspect not charged by police)

4.) Brother in life threatening motorcycle accident, lucky to be alive and recovering, I will thank the lord everyday for his recovery.
5.) Wallet stolen by a guy and his wife while with their two kids (no recovery, gave police addresses, times, date, verified camera footage at gas station and local store - stores refuse to release footage to me and cops don’t come to get it, they also won’t take a police report in person or over the phone, again use the “online police report”) - This was today.
The devil will provoke and temp us in many ways, turn to god and fear him, not the devil. I found myself asking God: “Why me?”Like it was his fault or his doing, what a dumb question.
Thank God my children are healthy and well taken care of. Thank God my for my loving wife, an awesome mom, I don’t know what I would do without her. Thank God my brother is ok and on the road to recovery. Thank God I have a loving family. Thank God for my job and my colleagues.
1.) I’m thankful nobody was injured, my wife and kids weren’t in the vehicle at the time of the hit and run. We have insurance for a reason, her car will look even better than before. We have to pay a $500 deductible, but I’m grateful we have the funds to do so.
2.) I’m grateful I’m fortunate enough to have been able to replace the tools I needed immediately to continue working. I should have inquired further with my insurance company regarding what happens if I needed to make a claim when I agreed to terms with them. Hard lesson to learn, now I know. Hopefully they work with me, as this is still ongoing. I’m thankful I’ve learned this lesson and hopefully other learn from this as well.
3.) I’m so thankful for the individual that witnessed the incident and found me to let me know. I would have liked to see the culprit charged with the hit and run. However I am thankful for the officer that hunted him down, I only wish he would have taken it a step further. Nonetheless I don’t have to pay the deductible.
4.) I love you Parker, I’m forever thankful you’re ok and can’t wait to spend sometime with you. Keep on keeping on bro!
5.) This is such a fresh one, I’m grateful I realized it was missing when I did. I’m grateful once my bank does their investigation I will be credited back what was stolen. I’m grateful I can replace everything in my wallet including the pictures of my children. I hope and pray the children of the guy that took it are ok and grow up to be decent member of society. I forgive the guy that took my wallet, his desperation is a sign of weakness and I hope he can turn that into something else, desperation can be a fantastic motivator with the right intentions.
I will not allow these small bumps along my long journey break me. I’m not immune to the stress and hurt they cause me, but why dwell on things with negative energy and emotions attached to them? After using alcohol as a crutch and a coping mechanism for 15 years, I can’t even describe how it feels to just not want to revert back and let all this pent up stress get me like it used to. I’ve left out a few other factors that I didn’t include on this post as I wasn’t sure where I was going to post it until now.
If you think your life sucks, it doesn’t. Talk to God, talk to family, talk to friends. Think about the positive, no matter how tall the mountain is to get there, or how steep the incline. Take your time getting there if you need to, you’ll feel a heck of a lot better when you get there.
